One of my favorite songs too... Not many have made songs this beautiful, sincere, and pure. Just think of the hard and hectic life Jimi had, growing up, making his way, and dying at only 27 years old. And to do all that he did... he was a genius, yes, but most of all it was his soul speaking through his songs. Songs like this one, and "May this be love" I count among the most beautiful ever made. Where are you now, Jimi?
Not only could he blow your head off with the guitar he could also compose and lay down some of the most beautiful and imaginative progressions and his voice is awesome in this. No one played like him before but he changed the way every guitarist played after.
