As much as I love Hugh Laurie, Alan Shore has got to be one of the most brilliant written (and obviously performed) male tv characters of the last decade. Too bad Boston Legal got axed after five seasons, but on he other hand: 5 years is probably a good periode to consider whether you ant to continue: a lot of shows get milked to death and I would have hated to see that happen to BL.

They killed one of the most creative, intelligent and hilarious programs made in recent times. I hope that Boston Legal back to the TV.

Fantastic show! Too bad it was killed by FOX because of being critical to the government and the banking system. The network tried to kill the rating by moving the show 3 TIMES!!! in different days of the week thus confusing the potential viewers and finally, at the high time of Boston Legals popularity, FOX simply called David E. Kelley and told him there won't be a next season, although it was known that most of its audiences earned more than 100,000$ a year (the ideal audiences for marketing)

@FuckBasescu It was produced by 20th Century Fox Entertainment, but it was actually aired on ABC. It was, though, a great show - and the marketing part is spot on, they actually had an episode where the characters themselves commented on that absurdity...

Dammit I wanted to rant against Spader being a House and Dexter fan, but now that I remember he's actually a good actor.. I just don't watch Lawyer shows anymore.... L.A. Law broke me of that as a kid.

But they still need to give Hugh Laurie one just because he does the whole show in a different Dialect every day. Can you imagine pronouncing medical terms in oh I dunno An english speaking African or broken German.
