Wouldn't the 3100's be faster since they have DD60's in them?

Both buses have Detroit Diesel Series 60 Engines. That's why I mentioned it depended on the operator. The one in 5306 was early and cruised part of the way

I still think our Neos are better... LOL
Yeah, PAT 3100s are pretty good. Between the two, WMATA's 5300s are just a little more speedy
Wha.. they got Neos too!! I've gotta visit WMATAland someday.

Just 21 of them. They replaced MAN Artics from the mid-80s
@TheTransitCamera well they're up for rehab next year so you can catch them fresh
