Tomorrow is the 14th anniversary of the passing of John. Miss him so much! Having many JD friends helps ease the pain.

Here's another song I missed when you originally posted it. I love the Dirt Band, too. And of course John Denver. I like the part about the old red chair, pulling the stuffing out for something to do. Some songs are so simple and it makes one think, "Gee, I would never have thought that would make a song," but here they are.

On this day in 1943, The Good Lord gave us a most precious gift, one that would touch our hearts and open our minds and stir our souls, long after the gift has gone. John Denver was that gift. The world lost a precious gem on that fateful day in 1997 and nothing will ever shine as brightly as the treasure that is John Denver. I miss you John. I just LOVE this song!! Thank you Michael. You are awesome and I'm so grateful that you do so much to keep John's memory alive!! I got to meet Jim Horn in Aspen this October. It was great!

Such a beautiful song by our wonderful JD. Michael, thank you for all the hard work you have done to bring all the wonderful videos. I know I have told you many times, but I know JD's fans appreciate all the treasures you bring us. I just finished watching Channel's videos of John's "Let There Be A Voice". Fantastic!!!!!

I love this song. I like that he slowed the tempo down in this version, the one on the album recording seems to go so fast that you can hardly follow the stream of thought through the song.

We have a little old cabin in the woods and we watch our copy of his videos all the time because we don't have cable or satellite t.v. In my mind It's kind of a John Denver get away for me, I have eagles & horses on the wall, and wildlife abounds. We love it.
