@kavice2006 people will say DMC3, but for me as I don't have the game...my favorite one is 4 for story and script, 3 for gameplay, 2 for finally being a sequal, and 1 for being the start of the Extreme Action Genre.

boy does this game bring back memories. I was 10 when I got this lol, and it was my first M rated game. It always gave me nightmares, but I could never put it down. I beat it like 10 times haha xD. And that music that plays where you select orbs and such is still scary like it was when i first played it.

lookin back @ this game just makes me realize how much the other 3 DMC game are all virtually the same in every aspect(level design, story & gameplay) I'm glad the new DMC is goin to be different.

& all that negative feedback is about how Dante doesn't have all white hair anymore, ppl keep calling him a twilight emo & get this Ninja Theory's 1st couple of designs was close to the original Dante, but Capcom told them they wanted something completely different.

The 1st one & 3rd one were challenging & difficult & they were by far the best of the series, The 2nd one wasn't all that great & fourth one wasn't all that challenging. But yeah I'm hoping it turns out great too as long as the gameplay is fun & The story is good then I really doesn't it matters if he looks like the old Dante or not.

@Newz1306 Well, I won't really buy it. I'll borrow it though. I'm a gamer so I play all kinds of games whether shitty or not. I won't pay for it though. :D I know one thing's for sure. It doesn't relate with the original DMC, DMC3, and DMC4. (DMC2 is kinda crap according to most people but it's the very first DMC game I've played that introduced me to this series as a kid)

@AplG7Rocks I actually heard that the new DMC isn't really a reboot. I dont know how that's gonna work but a big wig at capcom has said that this is an origin story. Now, I thought DMC 3 was the origin story? Oh well, i'll still buy and play it.

Dude they've said in every interview that they retelling the original story from the novel in a different way and you're not telling me anything I don't know about the looks I seen both the trailer and to me (IN MY OPINION) It looks good.

Wanna defeat the black knight dude without taking damage ? As soon as the battle begins scramble to the top of the wall quickly and stand at the hollowed out area at the edge of the wall and blast away at him with shotgun. After he comes to the top of the wall with you instantly jump down and position yourself to the left of the gap in the wall where he can't hit you with plasma balls. You have to wait until he drops his sword to the side after each shotgun blast. it's a slow cheat but it works.

@ReneeNme Oh, I forgot the last segment of the black night dude after he tries to beckon you up. Just jump back up to the bottom section wall where the hollowed area is where you were before, stand on the flat part of the walkway behind it and continue to blast away at him with the shotgun. You have to time your shots at about 1 second intrevals 'cause remember he still tries to guard with his sword even though you can't see him. You will know when you score a hit 'cause his life bar trembles.

well guys about nelo ngelo and yamato i was thinking about it and let me tel you this right yamato was found broken in DMC4 and ithink the sword used by nelo it still being yamato but it could chnged with vergil by mundus control over vergil remember if you play in DMC3 SE as nelo angelo when you get into DT the sword that you get in the weapon selection is yamato and i also think when dante beats nelo here inDMC1 his soul and yamato went away and his soul returned as nero and yamato waited him

This is very similar to Ominishua warriors where their are alternate dimensions that contain evil monsters and mutants.

But it's a lot harder because you have to master the sword throughout the whole game.

Although I could say DMC and OW are equally as challenging because you have combine guns with a 2 handed longsword that Dante has.

Because Nelo Angelo is the Devil form that he's been given by Mundus, it's supposed a complete change to the normal Virgil; New armour and weapon.

vergil get trapped in the demon world at the end of dmc3 he decide to fight mundus like his father did, that was the ending of him in dmc 3, in this one vergil already fought mundus but he lost and mundus transformed him un nelo angelo

Yeah and when he saw Dante's pendant he started to regain control of himself again, but the pain of recovering his memories was too much for him. He ran off, only to later gain full control over himself before the final fight with Dante.
