@HOUSEOFSCRAPSCANADA Hi, where did you get your adapter for only $2.99?? I would love to get mine there! I just went to WRMK website and the adapter is listed as $4.99 each. Just an update for those interested. Hope to hear from ya soon as I have some ideas for gifts for my grandkids and nieces :)
HouseOfScrapsOnCanada I'm new To Scrapbooking I want to buy the Cinch With The Adapter But Went On The Web U Listed & Only The Cinch Bindery Comes Up On The Search But Nothing For The Adapter...
Hi, Arlene. Thanks for doing this video. I have wanted a BIA forever and then the Cinch came out, and I am having the hardest time deciding what to get. The one thing that I am hearing about the Cinch is that it does not accommodate slimmer sized books. Have you found this to be an issue? How thick must the book be with the cinch? Also have you had any trouble punching through thicker materials with the BIA. I know that was a lot...LOL! Any suggestions would be great. Thanks so much:)
hi i got my cinch a couple of weeks back i also have bia and i have to say the cinch is much easyer to use just in the fact that you lay your pages flat so much easyer also i love the fact that you dont have o do all the holes but on the bia i must admit i prefere the holes and thatyou can use the smaller wires as i use them alot my friend was surpose to have bia but sadly she will have to wait till i use all my small wires tho she can always use it any of them great vid demo xxxx
Arlene, thank you so much for this video. It helped me decide to buy the Cinch rather than the BIA. It's an early birthday present to myself from my hubby. He just doesn't know it yet. LOL
FYI, there is one small difference with the Owires if I'm not mistaken. The BIA has 24 rings and the Cinch has 23 (not sure why they chose 23 though).
I love this. I have been waiting for it to come out and I wanted to see someone use it before I made the final decision to purchase it. You make it look so super easy. Tfs
I se when you make your minis you use just pattern paper for your pages, Not chip board for them all. They hold up well with all the embelishing. So you just have the covers be chip board?
@leonorasshows It punches through as many pieces of paper/chipboard that your Crop-a-dile or BigBIte does. For me, I can punch through 2 pieces of heavy chipboard or 5-6 pieces of cardstock at the same time.
love your pink cinch! the cinch reminds me a little of the GBC office binding machines. so cool, i am debating...BIA or cinch. not sure which one yet ;p'. hehe. thanks so much for sharing, arlene! *hugs* steph :)
Oh my Gosh!! I got it on HSN as well! I was so excited until I punched it and the holes were crooked! I called the number and they are so accomodating and said other people reported problems as well and are holding one in their system until they receive my defective one! (we r memory keepers not hsn) I am sad I have to wait but so glad that they are so, so nice! Just an FYI........test on scraps first guys :-) Thanks for sharing, Brigitte
I always wanted a bind it all n that's what I was planning on asking for my bday but the cinch looks so simple to use only thing is it looks like it takes up alot of space. Which do I prefer more the cinch or the bind it all??
Gosh girl you have such nice papers. Im dying to do a mini using my bind-it-all for my grandsons but havent come across papers I want to use. Such awesome taste. Thanks for sharing this, Im still waiting to use my bind-it-all. Will def need to ready the manual each time.
I am really just starting to use my Cinch. I LOVE it. I always had such a hard time with the BIA. I could never get the spacing the same, etc. This makes it stupid simple to use. Awesome.
Thank you so much for doing this video. I've noticed *sometimes* that companies fail at these instructional videos because they seem to forget...or don't take into consideration that they are the only ones who know how to use their products and don't go into the detail like you did here with your video. Naturally there will be trial & error along the way but your video gives a great start and introduction to this machine. Thanks much!!
The only problem I have ever had with my bind it all is not being able to, for the life of me, have my O rings turn out perfectly round. I guess I just have to pay more attention when I'm binding. Great tutorial on the Cinch Arlene! Hugs, Mary
@OdonataCreations That was my same issue!!! But with the Cinch, my wires come out perfectly round, go figure! hehe! I'm not sure what it is... it could be due to the binding system working in an "up/down" motion on the Cinch versus sideway motion on the BIA.
Hi Arlene! Thanks for a great video. I have the BIA and my biggest frustration is when I bind the wires, my wires are not perfect "O"s. I wanted to get your thoughts on how the Cinch compares in this area. Thanks again!
Hi! Could someone please tell me the exact name for the paper collection used in the second book....the one that has the rockets and unicorns from K&Company?? Thanks so much in advance!!
oh wow this looks so awsome and easy. Much easeir then the BIA I think but I havent used that one either. This is going on my lists of wants right away thank you for sharing this vid.!!!!
ohhhh cute machine! i know the BIA is drama, i totally promised a BIA tute and i am lagging girl, hard to explain how to use the bia in 10 minutes i need like a hundred minutes ha ha ha
Thank you so much for this vid. I was doing my research if I want the Bind it all or the Cinch. But I think I am going for the Cinch. I am not so great in manuals and I think I don't need very small wires a lot!
I saw another video on the Cinch and they said you can use small wires just put something like a piece of wood down first to raise the wire up so the Cinch can squeeze it together. make sense? or clear as mud? I can elaborate if needed to clarify what I'm trying to convey.
@emily9099 Cool, thanks for the tip! I don't think I'll use wires smaller than 1 inch since my minis tend to be super thick. LOL! :-) But it's great to know there's an option to go smaller with the Cinch.
Thanks for sharing. Its a cute machine and compact. For the price these machines are, I chose to get a Rubicoil. Its a lot bigger though and I use it for recycled notebooks and such. It is too cute, wish mine was pink. LOL..
That definitely seems easy to use. However, I think I have sticker shock. I do like the round holes as compared to the rectangle-like holes on the BIA. I didn't realize you could use round holes with wire. How could I not see that? Maybe I'll play around with my hole punch and some of the wires. Thanks so much for the tutorial! ~Dera
Hi Arlene! Thanks so much for the demo. I saw the Cinch in action at CHA and I was sold, but then I used a friends BIA and changed my mind. It took me forever to decide. I ended up purchasing the Cinch last weekend and now that I have seen your tutorial, I so glad I did!
@ruthean Great video. I am looking for different prices for the cinch. Anyone know where to buy one? I tried Joanns (called 4 stores) and they told me they didn't carry them; at least not here. From the videos I seen I like the Cinch better. :)
Thanks for the demo... I have never owned the bia but I did buy the cinch about a month ago from hsn and it is as simple as you describe it... especially with the instructions right on the base of the machine... I literally made my daughter a dora mini scribble pad right out of the box... I love mine! TFS!

@CFlovesRB Yes, I used the BIA Owires in this vid and they are identical to the ones I got when I purchased the Cinch. :-)
