Me knowing some of what I know and some knowledge from a friend(who went to Seminary to study religion and aspects thereof), i know that Catholic beliefs are very conservative and old fashioned. The Catholic church has a standard of decency that they feel everyone in the church should follow. If someone doesn't fit their mold, then that particular someone will more that likely get criticized.

I don't have time to get the verse numbers. You're a Christian so you will have a Bible to check for yourself so you know I'm right. I've read it cover to cover. The God who commanded these things is the God you worship. The God who sends the good to Hell is the God you worship. I fail to understand how you can proclaim his goodness.

He is happy to be alive....to have survived a life-threatening illness...under all of that showmanship and bravado emerges a happy man who is grateful to be alive. I sensed him getting a bit choked up when asked what he wants to say to the fans..."thank you" "thank you"... alll I hear is gratitute for life, no matter what his religious beliefs (or none, doesn't matter), this was in interview full of JOY.

I just wish that blessing was put to a higher standard of morality, but he has been given free will by God to choose his path just like the rest of us. My personal opinion is that Nergal got a bad taste of Christianity from an early point in his life. I'd say that its 90 percent the fault of stupid hypocrites that Nergal turned out this way.

Me knowing some of what I know and some knowledge from a friend(who went to Seminary to study religion and aspects thereof), i know that Catholic beliefs are very conservative and old fashioned. The Catholic church has a standard of decency that they feel everyone in the church should follow. If someone doesn't fit their mold, then that particular someone will more that likely get criticized.

Revelation 19:20-21 is talking about armageddon and satan and the anti-christ being defeated and being sent to hell. I don't have time to get the verse numbers. You're a Christian so you will have a Bible to check for yourself so you know I'm right. I've read it cover to cover. The God who commanded these things is the God you worship. The God who sends the good to Hell is the God you worship. I fail to understand how you can proclaim his goodness.

@CannibalDave Agreed. I think the only good things in the book are the 'good' things which Jesus teaches e.g. true Christian values. The rest of the things Jesus does and teaches are evil and the rest of the Bible is evil. I think if more Christians read the Bible we'd have more Atheists.

@callingvoiceproject Basically if you take the Bible at face value so to speak, it is a pretty disgusting book. And remember, it is the holy book of Christianity. Now I realise that many modern day Christians have removed certain aspects from the religion, but my problem is the actual belief structure's fundamental aspects and whoever follows them. If 'faith' means one believes everyone who is not a Christian is going to Hell, I don't want to know them.
