I am Haion Won, inventor of Wall Frame Marking Tool. I would like to introduce you a new hardware tool: Wall Frame Marking Tool. If you are interested in trying the tool, please let me know.
It takes three days for a contractor to install 40-50 wall frames in a four bed room house. The total cost is about $3,000-4,000. The material cost is not that much expensive. But, the wall frame marking labor cost is very high. With the tool, it takes just a half day to finish the job.
Nice video! I do wish you had included more details on various tricks involved, what tools you used, what lumber products you used, particular dimensions, etc.
But I'd love to view any more tips you may share! The wainscotting looks great even before stain or paint!
nice video... you could have shown some more details at points, especially the Kreg jig... . I was a little surprised that you hadn't marked out all the studs in advance or blocked up the frame and then shim to exact height. but on whole very nice job. Lots of nuance and I don't think you talked to much. best of luck.
plywood is not all crap. A1 ply (walnut, cherry, maple, ect) is excellent quality and has its place as does actual lumber and other building materials. You built cabinet boxes out of only raw wood? sheath houses is only boards? come on. the jerk store called, they are running out of sirkitty007
I've seen Norm Abram use plywood on many of his projects, wainscoting too. Uh, he's a master carpenter, never heard him say it's crap. So your comment is irrelevant and shows ignorance of the subject. Nice video though. Would have liked to seen the finishing also, but it is a Kreg video about their product.
@my3yorkies I've personally heard Norm say the word crap, therefore you lie, everything you say is hereby negated forever. Your ignorant words are now irrelevant forever because I caught you in a dirty fib you scum.
Loved the video and thanks. Wished you had talked about what type of wood you used. I know you mentioned 1/4 plywood but what about for the frame? 1x4's? and then did you rip them into maybe 2in for the top and middle sections? Thanks again though for the video.

Nice job! You are a real craftsman. I learned a lot. Question - If you omitted the plywood would the overall look be that different with paint?

if you use cheap fir plywood, then yes, it will be crap, if you use some good quality A-1 veneer core ply, it will be excellent quality.

Plywood is always garbage. Ask any master carpenter. Anytime your using plywood your installing crap. Especially in wainscoting.

I like your video, but you talk to much. Explain what size nails your using and show the finished product after sanding and staining.
