um my axial ax10 has a 55t motor, locked front diff, and an AS-2 steering servo and comp looking body and not the half monster truck half trophy truck body. this is the rock racer not rock crawler. Not too much diffrent but not a scorpion

IF you want a poor quality rock crawler this one is for you. This AX10 would be a great gift for a child 5 years or older. If you want a serious rock crawler go with the ARTR version. If you just want a basher I would pass on this truck. Look at all the videos and compare and then decide based on your budget and wants.

The wheely king is quite good for bashin and got a little bit speed. But crawling it is not the best. And you also got Rock crawler from kyosho. That one got some good speed.

u just bought the ARTR kit and it include the heavy duty lockers and gears was on sale for 249. but i had to buy motor ESC and radio gear but made for strict rock crawling but was surprised about all the metal parrts it comes with

hey, i got 300$ i want a highlift but cant afford them, ive always wanted one, now i seen this and want one, which is better, highlifts a good show car, but heard the 4x4 sux, i seen this car climb 90 degree angles, are they good in the mud? all i do is play with them in homeade soupy mud, but ive never HAD a crawler, so are these good?

with the rtr kit can you get an aluminum servo arm? I keep stripping the one that came with the kit. I am on my last one.

hey guys, im deciding either on getting losi mrc or axial scorpion rtr

which one will be easier(cheaper) to get comp ready

i will mostly leave it stock(eletronics wise)

mabey a cheap dig if i get axial, which one will preform better in its class mostly stock, also whish one breaks less because i dont want to be fixing parts every 10 min

get the artr all u need is 2 bu what ever electronics you want or have laying around (i used stuff off my old boat) but got a diff servo and a speed control and it has enough flex 2 challenge most $500+

but deffiantly 1. tighten drive shafts every now and then 2. dont let idiots use it (my freind busted off a shock cap and broke a frontlink from droping it from a table) 3. tighten shock caps if and when needed. if u want to know what i use for my crawler just reply back and i hoped that helped

No, It wont make the truck slower but it will make the turning radius horrible

Ok...just got it yesterday and right out of the box it breaks. The speed controller falls off and the servo gears break on the slightest bump. I replace the servo entirely and it does it again!

Not very impressed with how that worked out because it cost me $400+.

Thank you for this. I've been debating getting this or the WK to get my feet wet in crawling. I think I'll get this one.

One question though. Is the spur gear safe exposed like that? You'd figure there would be a gear cover to prevent debris from getting stuck in it.

If your rock crawling you usually aren't going fast enough to get anything stuck in there. if your bashing there is a slight chance but i wouldn't worry about.

I'd probably do more bashing. I have an 18T and have had many problems with grains of sand getting stuck in the spur gear. I'm afraid the same would happen with this.
