I agree with what Bill Cooper is saying. However, as a Christian, I totally concur with cleanmbroadway that we are here to save souls. What difference does it make if you spend your whole life free and spend eternity in hell! The early Church Christians never had freedom, but they are spending eternity in heaven because their souls were saved!

I am a bit confused by the use of the term socialism. My understanding of socialism is not as the suppressive/facist Soviet Union style but as providing society with a better standard of living, better education, health, programs for arts, sports, etc. So my question here would be what's the point of view when we talk about socialism related to this? And don't take me wrong, I believe politics are nothing but a big act. I'm just wondering about that ...

socialism is not about providing better standard of living, better education, health, arts, and sports. It masks itself as trying to do that, but in all documented instances where socialism has been tried, it has done just the opposite by imposing authoritative, totalitarian regimes upon people by making them dependent on the government. There is no free lunch no matter what people may claim (uhm, Obama).

But that is the new socialism. The idea of "Chairman Meow" ;) is no longer socialism. A balanced system, trying to get the best out of the 2 and working for the people. In an ideal world (which we're not of course) Politicians are elected to represent the people and to work according to what's best for the people. Health, education and much more for the people. That should be true socialism.

His message may be true. Everything he says could be based in fact but his delivery is paranoid, perhaps he wasn't paranoid enough considering how he died!

All in all, I think Cooper had a message that we should all heed but the way he delivers that message is so infuriating that I can't listen to him for more than a few minutes.

He is a good speaker, but I'm not shure about his message. Freedom is important, but not the exclusive only value. I followed all 6 series but I can't recall that he named democracy. And by democracy I mean the details that would it make worth the paper it is written on. Because You can bribe a few represantants, but never a whole country(which is represented by each civilian). Giving a vote just away as usual, is irresponsible and anti-democratic.
