i wasn't even thinking of buying this, but then i went to france and it was just there and i needed a notebook.

BTW, SUPERMARKETS IN FRANCE HAVE A MASSIVE RANGE OF STATIONERY, seriously, it sounds a bit extreme but.. if you want good stationery, it's probably worth getting a eurostar there or something (if you live in the uk that is, or anywhere connected by eurostar).

They have loads of oxford notebooks there...
