Iam from north of Chile, I didnt feel the quake, but is well known here that the Tsunami at the south was huge at some parts, like the Indonesia tsunami. I think thats why the authority took it so serious..

I was working all day yesterday and then at night, didn't have time for the news. Right after I posted I flipped on CNN and saw that Chile had a 8.8 magnitude quake.

I do keep up with world events, but unfortunately I didn't have time to watch the news this morning. I have friends in Hawai'i right now. Hope they are on higher ground.
