I am the production manager at Penwal. While I was not a Penwal during this particular project I am very proud of our accomplishment as a company. There is not a day that passes that someone in the shop doesn't mention "The A-380 Project" in the course of normal daily conversation.... it's a huge piece of our history and everyone is very proud of it.

could this have been any faster? Looks like crap! I just came back from London and got to see it. WOW! looks better in the pictures. talk about poor craftsman ship. You don't even build a plane like that even if it is just a model.

Wow, that was awesome! I had heard about that being done, but it was super-cool to actually see the process in action. I'd love to see more details if anyone's seen a longer video somewhere. Now I've got to get to London to see the real thing!
