  • It would be the answer to an economic crisis. We need a product to sell overseas. Many people use it for medicial problems and if you live in a state where it isn't legal and you would understand how hard it is to know something can help you but your government is in the way of our healthcare.

  • NO Republican or Democrat, for that manner will ever legalize anything. Both parties are riding the Zero Tolerance ban wagon. Make everything illegal so you can fine those who disagree with your policies. Take away their money, their jobs, their medicines, and their right to vote. It's all about control, sold as freedom. I am a supporter of Goooh.com , and I am running a write in campaign for US President. Zero tolerance is the first step to Nazism.

  • those who have smoked weed represent a majority in this country. Over fifty percent of the voting population admit to having smoked marijuana, at some point... most of the rest lie about it. If every person who ever took a drag, whether they inhaled or not got behind a single candidate in any election at any level of government he or she would win by a landslide... register to vote, and get out and vote because I'm running for president in 2012

  • vote for ron paul he will legalize weed

It's not enough to say "Vote Ron Paul"

In order for Dr.Paul to win, HE NEEDS THE PRIMARY. That's the toughest part.

IF YOU WANT TO VOTE IN PRIMARY YOU HAVE TO BE REGISTERED REPUBLICAN! If you don't switch parties in time, (3 months ahead in some states from now) YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE!!

Go to BLUEREPUBLICAN(dot)ORG and register ASAP! Copy and paste this everywhere! Thumbs up to help this be on top.

  • honostly its hard to say if it would help there allection due to the controversy all over America on the subject but i think if they brought the facts about marijuana to the general public it could help them and it could damage there campaign to but like i said its hard to say but i sure as hell hope it gets legalized soon

  • I have never used weed and I am strongly against weed! ...however after researching it over the last few years I have learned many things... hemp is a very good crop and has much benefits like hemp rope and other things the less cost of law enforcement and the legal system would be very beneficial to society also deadly gangs would loose much funds and would create a safer community! many people use weed anyways and taxing would increase money to reduce the debt... how could you NOT be for it?

  • Unfotunatly marijuana is still a very controversial issue in this country. With this being said I think polotitions are still afraid to jump on the prolegalization side of the conflict.

  • Why in the hell would you think we should tax marijuana ? would want to tax my tomato garden to ?

  • @edward944, WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE FEDS OUT OF OUR GARDENS, AND OUT OF OUR PANTS POCKETS! RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!

  • This is stupid I like Ron Paul but to vote for him just because of pot is like high school free soda if you elect me

  • @bobbyraejohnson , SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!

  • Ron Paul!

  • I don't trust Obama because he won't keep that promise, but it would help any other candidate. Ron Paul is who I hope to vote for in 2012.

  • Help. If it was legalized it could be taxed. We could literally pay off our national debt in a few years. It would eliminate crime related to marijuana (even though weed smokers arent dangerous, the trafficing and sale is dangerous due to its being illegal). Jobs could be created on Pot Farms. Medicine would be revolutionized, and Plus the Millions of Recreational smokers would be happy. If Tobacco is legal, Marijuana should be as well.

  • There is just too much money in keeping marijuana illegal to see it go legal. History is the proof. Big Oil. Big Pharma, and the Prison Industrial Complex are the main factors. Don't expect any changes, even if Colorado votes for legal cannabis in 2012. That will be challenged by the state and federal officials. The only possible scenario that could get marijuana legal, would be for Mexico to go legal. They voted to decriminalize all drugs for personal use. It will be up to Mexico in my opinion.

  • when weed is legal we dont have to worry about the cartels because the government is the one bringing the crack

  • @suryahummer45 How many bread smugglers have you read about in the news?

  • They should just legalize all drugs.

  • My nan reckons that the UK government should just legalize all drugs. Apart from the post code wars and football hooliganism it would get rid of our crime pretty much. I think if people want to do stuff that will fuck their body up for the high then that's their choice, if they are all legal we won't have the problem with drug trafficking here.

  • @fluffymole0913 You're a fucking dumbass.

  • @adam11mpls Note the key phrase at the beginning "My nan reckons that...." Does that mean I feel the same way? NO. The only bit that is my opinion is the "I think if people want to do stuff that will fuck their body up for the high then that's their choice"

  • If it was to legalize their would be many pros and cons.

we all know it wont be legalized, because theirs to much money in it being illegal.

  • they should legalize it and tax the hell out of it like they do with ciggs

  • i would vote for them and i dont usuly vote

  • people make huge money from drug dealing. im all for legalisation, but the dealers from poor areas will just go to petty crimes to get money.

  • if they legalized it, they'd prolly make more people move on to harder drugs, cause there's no trill in doing something illegal

  • @suryahummer45 alcohol is the gateway drug not weed get that through your head. no pot head shoots heroin, those are dead beat drunks

  • if the govt grew it, theyd prolly make it less potent

  • prolly hurt, cus more folks think it's bad, ebenthough the money is big

  • I dont know why they shouldn't. We have legal weed here in the Netherlands. No problem at all

  • I have no idea how it would impact it cause I dont follow all the politics lol but I know a bunch of pot heads and I know if someone was running to legalize it they would start voting in the year 2012 lol along with me...not that I'm a pot head just saying lol

  • Oh, and about Gary Johnson- I love the guy and agree with him on a lot of issues. He ran a very libertarian like style of politics- lowered controls on the economy and lowered taxes, and his state grew in double digits by the end of his term (lowered his OWN taxes from previous years) Unlike these other so called conservatives- he was able to abolish and cut tons of gov't programs and agencies while not losing one public sector job and in his 2 term private sector jobs also increase.

  • A candidate should neither endorse The war on drugs nor legalization. It's a state issue to determine how they will deal with it; not a national one. 99% of the time centralized powers do worse than smaller states in regulating something.

  • It would hurt the candidate badly. Not that im against it, but most people are hardcore weed haters! at least wait till after ur elected to legalize it haha ppl wont vote for u if u say it before the elections

  • Ron Paul should win the Republican ticket.Pete most Americans have been sold this bogus lie about marijuana they will not take their head out their ass long enough to hear any facts. They actually believe that drugs cause violence etc they fail to make the connection that PROHIBITION is the reason herb is dangerous not herb. Ron Paul I didn't hear you mention him as a candidate he is libertarian he wants the government out of the drug issue 100%.

  • i see it as helpful for the us. honestly weed should be legal if tobacco is legal. tobacco is full of chemicals where as non laced weed is all natural and almost impossible to diefrom smoking it for to long! plus weed also helps with a number of medical problems! if it were legal i believe there would be alot of outraged people but on the other hand so many other people would be happy! i dont see pot as a drug more as a medicine depending on its use.
