yeah that's awesome. and just wanted to say thanks. I have this drawing I've been working on forever (I haven't kept track, but I think 100 hours is a reasonable guess). I was kind of stuck, but then I watched a couple of your vids and drew for like 3 hours straight on it. I really like your style. when I'm done with the pic, I'll scan it and send you a copy. I think you would really enjoy it, because it's somewhat similar to your drawings.
@bmanley620 Haha glad to hear it! Yeah I tend to lose track of time too when I'm drawing, often when I estimate the time I think a drawing will take, it ends up to take more than twice as long as I thought. I'm really interested to see what your drawing looks like, especially because of the description you gave as a comment to my 'Hand' video.
I assume you meant 9 by 12 inches? If that's the case, the details must be tiny! Do you draw with pencil or with a fineliner like I did with the Hand?
@AnimatorZo2 Yeah, I've just been using pencil, a pen, and an ultra fine sharpie. But the main reason my picture is taking so long is because there is really no right side up for it. if you turn the page different ways, you will see different people. I've overlapped several people in this drawing, so one eye ball could be used for several people and it can even be used as a mouth for other people. I haven't counted exactly, but I'd estimate that there are easily over 200 characters in it.
@bmanley620 Sounds very complicated to create, I understand why it's taking so long. It sounds a lot like some of the stuff Escher's made, or those optical illusions that look like a drawing of a single face, but when you turn the paper up side down, a different face emerges. Were you inspired by such things?
Trully inspiring artwork, wish I had a copy of these to hang up in house.

@GreatQueenFan Possibly, but he didn't just learn this out of the blue. He practiced a lot.

looks crazy realistic. how long did that take?

@bmanley620 I just calculated it and I must say I was surprised by how long it took: a little over 9 hours :O
I expected it to be way shorter. I guess that's because I had a lot of fun drawing this pic xD
