Turns out that although Clover Studios is Offically non-existent, turns out that the Clover studios team (most of it atleast) Combined with another company and became Platinum Games

Platinum Games is the company that made Bayonetta and Mad World

It's pretty clear that the clover studios team still loves their crude humor even when they're Platinum games now

It's a decent game, but for the bearer of the legendary Godhand he dies WAY too quickly. Plus the extreme button-mashing really gets to your wrists. Wow, you get all those awesome techniques right at the beginning of the game on easy? Gee, I'm about halfway through the game and I only have a couple of those. Definetely don't wanna see this game on hard.

@RoughThief A glance alone, and it's not the greatest game ever, but if you want to REALLY get good at the game and (futile in manner) try to 'master' it, that's where the real fun begins. Because no one masters this game. Not even Chunk Nor-*Explodes*

Your starting moveset is always the same, regardless of the difficulty setting.

Do note, however, that Gene has a handful of "free" moves that don't take up move slots. The anti-air moves are easy to figure out on your own, but you might miss the rest if you don't look at the manual.

For example: quickly pressing pressing Triangle after a forward dodge performs a sweep kick, pressing forward + Triangle while the enemy is on the ground performs a heel drop, etc.

And yes, I've already figured out some of the "free" moves. But I meant the ones he puts IN the slots. I didn't have those until WAY later.

Which moves are you talking about, exactly? Looking at his trip to the Shop in part 2, I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Everything that's in his inventory or available in the Shop is available on Normal/Hard, from what I can see.

They never change things like that. They just mercilessly cut out all the gore and everything that's fun, but that's about it. When was the last time you played on normal?

Well, if you look at my channel, you'll notice I'm doing a walkthrough for Hard right now, so I'm obviously quite familiar with the contents of the Shop on Hard.

It has been a while since I've touched Normal, but I doubt they would make Easy and Hard the same and leave things out on Normal. Just to be 100% sure, though, I just did a quick run through of the first area on Normal to verify that the shop's inventory is also the same, and it is.

My strategy for playing normal: whenever there's more than two people on screen and on level Die, use grovel.

My strategy for playing hard: restart game on normal or easy to make myself feel good at the game

Actually, yes! Beating the game allows you to go through it again with your current file all fully powered, with new techniques unlocked in the shop, a-la RE4.
