Wow. Talk about overdone! Some poor working boy gets scared about a felony charge and splits town. Probably working on a ranch somewhere, changed his name, and no one will ever see him again. But the music! Swoosh! Bong! Voom! Jeez-Louise! You'd think it was a show about a serial killer!
Men hide things VERY well..and frankly once a child is an adult..especially a male child..they rarely tell parents/family much. They are not the same sweet 5 year olds..They don't have to share what is in their mind or life.. Reminds me of the men who kill and the parents and family always say"no he would never do that etc etc" Sorry but..you just don't know your family when they are adults..Heck even living with them..you still won't know them if they have stuff to hide. Master manipulators.

Couldn't "It's a long way back to Kansas" be in reference to "The Wizard of Oz"? Is that not a line you might almost expect from someone visiting a place like that?
@MissZZee It is not strange in a lot of southern and midwestern states. Hunting is huge. Even nowadays a lot give their kids bee bee guns too. I would never- But...You know how the world is nowadays.

Did any one stop to think that maybe something happened to Brayden the night he spent in jail? Something he couldn't deal with?

@singpraise247 You are so correct how we never really know someone even though we may THINK we do - especially an adult! Well said!!

This is strange - parents let their 5 year old child handle a gun....

@MissZZee Not strange for Kansas hicks. Trust me, I've been stationed in KS. It is normal among many people there.

@MissZZee It is probably normal in the USA, remember it is the gun country number one.
