Pretty awesome there bud, clean, and precise. That tapping exerpt was awesome, after the first solo, and the diminished string skipping was cool. I thought that bit was more complex than that, but it sounded right, I'm just making things harder for myself. Also, the tuning, is it (high-low) Eb, Bb, Gb, Db, Ab, Eb, Ab?

I have a question. As you maybe know, I'm working on a tab. The 'ugly' tapping at 2:00, before the real solo, did you play that just randomly or are these the correct notes, as on the album? Do you think Misha plays it the same live?

@NoaOno I'm sure he does play it the same way, he seems like the kind of person who always plays things the way he recorded it. If you just watch my fingers, you should get an idea of what I'm playing. I kind of did it randomly and it worked out pretty well!

@TWLB17 I figured it out just by watching him play. Play on the G string 11 8 6 and then keep tapping 6 and 8 back and forth while bouncing from the 11th fret on the g string to the d string's 10th, 11th, and 13th fret back and forth. then follow the same patterns one string lower. Same frets.

hmm, sometimes it's better not to think about it I agree,sometimes i just like to know. I often write riffs then figure out they're in loops of 11/8 and 13/8 but the complexity of a time sig does't make it good by any means,just good to have a good understanding for when recording.i'll have a further listen and get back to you on what i figure out!

the first run through has 8 beats but the guitar come in after 1 beat, then the next 2 are within 7 beats. then there's the fill part over 3 beats.Then the section with the same riff with a poly rhythm and then the riff switches to a 4/4 version. phew.
