Speaking as a fan, I liked it, but at the same time i can admit that when looking at it in a non-fangirl way, it is not a very good movie. Twilight was terrible compared to the book. I liked New Moon, and Eclipse is my favorite. But Breaking Dawn was way over the top. What works in book form, sometimes just can't work onscreen. A few places that were supposed to be dramatic, I laughed. At least the acting is slowly getting better as the series goes on.

I think they should of not changed directors,and yeah some of the lines are cheesy.Thing I disliked was the jumping all over the place with the movie,And I think they could of done more with the movie.Honestly Its Not Good To Change Directors When There Is More Then One Series Just Bad Choice.This one was a bit of a let down......
Good review man, it seemed like the movies were getting better as they progressed its too bad this one sucked. Sparkling vampires though we all knew it was coming, why give props to pretty boy latner? His weak voice is his downfall in acting, at most i laugh at his "angry" lines. I liked a few of the fight scenes in previous movies i thought they might be going to a more action based movie as they progressed :(

I couldn't even get through the first half of the first film. If you want to watch a real vampire movie watch the the recent Fright Night, gory, scary, and at times funny. Twilight however, is about watered down "vampires", uninteresting characters, and a snooze worthy plot.

The movie wasn't terrible, it was exactly what the book entitled. I think you are afraid of making a review in which you might give a positive light due to the specific demographic that watch your videos. You simplify the fans of Twilight, which aren't as homogenous as you believe.

There are many series and movies I'm fans of that are poorly executed and I can admit that. Any person with a sense of taste can see that. Well, i'm a hater of the twilight series simply because the whole view of vampires, since those books were written, has been extremely lightened, sparkly, emo, vegipires.. Even with True Blood.. don't even get me started.. but come on! This is NOT what a vampire was originally portrayed to be! Bram Stoker is rolling over in his grave. What ever happened to the original, Nasfuratu, or Vlad the Impaler stories (the guy Vlad Dracula, the real life man the stories were based on).. ugh..

As much of a fan of twilight as I am I must agree the breaking dawn movie was very boring & unnecessary .There is nothing like the 1st movie though after watching this movie I don't even think I want to waste my time seeing pt 2
just watched it. I am a twilight fan since the books, not in a chickfreak sort of way, just a i read the books and enjoyed it so let's see what they did in the film, and let me say it wasn't brilliant. The dialogue was horrible. The music sounded like it belonged in The Lion King, and was the reason most of the film felt cheesy. But some of the scenes (ahem, the ending) was done very well. But yet again it's a movie made to satisfy teen girls. That's my main problem with the Twilight franchise..
One more thing I'd like to say is that, yes everyone has their own opinions/likes/dislikes and that's totally ok, but I guess I just have my feelings hurt a bit. This movie actually brought me to tears because I relate to a lot of the emotions of love and being a mother. I guess I just feel like I'm being judged not just as a viewer but as a person because I was actually emotionally moved by this movie that you deem awful. I happen to think I have pretty good taste in movies but... oh well.
I think the only part of this review that I have a bit of a problem with is the demographic you feel this movie appeals to. Teenaged girls are a given, but I am an adult who's never read any of the Twilight books and I'm a big fan of the movies. I think this one is the best so far honestly. When I watched this in the theater (given it was at noon on a Tuesday so no teens there) everyone there was an adult and at least half were men (single ones at that) so this movie appeals to everyone I think.

Aww man! I'm really disappointed you didn't enjoy the film, but I still respect your review. Some of the flaws you pointed out are completely true. Personally think all movies sucked but I loved the books. The reason so many ppl gate it is bcuz they didn't read it and watched the crap ass movies. I think the only movie that made my expectations was New Moon. Twilight had to much spinning, eclipse had to many face close ups, and breaking dawn, it explsins itself
Also, the soundtracks are awesome. Grammy-worthy. That definitely helps. I honestly don't think I'd like the movies as much without the great music. It makes all the scenes feel more important than they really are. So manipulative. And vampires will always fascinate girls. Even though The Vampire Diaries is way better. But that goes without saying.
I respect your opinion and all, and with my being a comic, I should feel the same way, but I'm sorry. I don't. It's definitely a manipulative franchise in every way but it's the sappiest, purest, weirdest, most faux romantic love story that bends me into a pretzel. It's like I'm being entranced by the film in every single one I've seen. I feel I'm entitled to a guilty pleasure and Twilght, the books and movies are it. It's better than Jersey Shore. You have to keep in mind that first and foremost the Twilight franchise is based on books. Now, I didn't mind the first three books much. Then Breaking Dawn arrived and it was absolutely the most horrible book I ever read. I mean, I could barely finish it, it was that bad. Since the fans were adamant about the movie following the book by the letter, there was no other way this could have turned out. You can't make a good screenplay based on crap.
I'm in China trying to catch up on what's gone on in the U.S. since I've been gone. This Twilight thing is crazy... I don't get the obsession. The movies are absolutely horrible. I found myself hating the actors for the pain they are inflicting upon us. I'd highly recommend watching "How to Be" or listening to Robert P.'s singing if you fall into this rut. It seems like they are talented people with a crappy script. :P Make it end!!!
I can see why someone who hadn't read the books wouldn't like the Twilight movies, especially this one I guess. As a movie lover I totally get the criticisms of all the movies. But as someone who fell in love with the books all of the movies are special to me and I get really excited for the next one despite the flaws. Anybody who's loved a movie that they know isn't the best but is special to them in some way can understand maybe.

I just watched the spoof version and half way, I thought I got to see the real Twilight to understand some of the jokes.
I thought while watching the spoof "Wow, they must be doing word from word in some scenes." but no, the spoof actually had better dialog in some scenes O.o
Not only that, I was watching the spoof and skipping around parts on the real Twilight and I got mixed up sometimes, watching the real one thinking it was the spoof because of the dialog or music...:/

I like Eclipse more than New Moon, but Breaking Dawn was SHIT. I actually got mad at everybody because they loved it. Ugh. Billy Burke was great though, as always.

When this film series began I wasn't a fan of it at all, however when I found out that the person responsible for the screenplays of this films. was a co-executive producer on Dexter I decided what the hell, let's see what she brings to this type of project. she failed in so many ways but I still respect her as a screenplay writer and I'm willing to forgive her. at the end of the day sometimes we write things that we regret later on in life, I am sure she will regret the films
Don't judge me! I actually loved the Twilight and New Moon books when they first came out. However, after the movies came out, I'm not so sure anymore. I haven't visited Twilight in awhile, but I do remember that the books were different/unique back in its time. I hated the last 2 books though. And the movies are even worse. They feel even cheesier than actual cheese.
So what I'm trying to say is that people make Twilight sound like pure crap when the first 2 books weren't that bad.

Plus it's his job to review movies like this and he will voice his opinion positively or negatively rather you like it on not. The movie wasn't terrible, it was exactly what the book entitled. I think you are afraid of making a review in which you might give a positive light due to the specific demographic that watch your videos. You simplify the fans of Twilight, which aren't as homogenous as you believe.

There are many series and movies I'm fans of that are poorly executed and I can admit that. Any person with a sense of taste can see that. I hate the Twilight series but I actually liked the first Twilight, but the rest sucked. Even the cast of the movie realize how scrappy and crazy the films are and aloof the fans are.

Well, i'm a hater of the twilight series simply because the whole view of vampires, since those books were written, has been extremely lightened, sparkly, emo, vegipires.. Even with True Blood.. don't even get me started.. but come on! This is NOT what a vampire was originally portrayed to be! Bram Stoker is rolling over in his grave. What ever happened to the original, Nasfuratu, or Vlad the Impaler stories (the guy Vlad Dracula, the real life man the stories were based on).. ugh..

just watched it. I am a twilight fan since the books, not in a chickfreak sort of way, just a i read the books and enjoyed it so let's see what they did in the film, and let me say it wasn't brilliant. The dialogue was horrible. The music sounded like it belonged in The Lion King, and was the reason most of the film felt cheesy. But some of the scenes (ahem, the ending) was done very well. But yet again it's a movie made to satisfy teen girls. That's my main problem with the Twilight franchise..

One more thing I'd like to say is that, yes everyone has their own opinions/likes/dislikes and that's totally ok, but I guess I just have my feelings hurt a bit. This movie actually brought me to tears because I relate to a lot of the emotions of love and being a mother. I guess I just feel like I'm being judged not just as a viewer but as a person because I was actually emotionally moved by this movie that you deem awful. I happen to think I have pretty good taste in movies but... oh well.

I think the only part of this review that I have a bit of a problem with is the demographic you feel this movie appeals to. Teenaged girls are a given, but I am an adult who's never read any of the Twilight books and I'm a big fan of the movies. I think this one is the best so far honestly. When I watched this in the theater (given it was at noon on a Tuesday so no teens there) everyone there was an adult and at least half were men (single ones at that) so this movie appeals to everyone I think.

Aww man! I'm really disappointed you didn't enjoy the film, but I still respect your review. Some of the flaws you pointed out are completely true. Also, the soundtracks are awesome. Grammy-worthy. That definitely helps. I honestly don't think I'd like the movies as much without the great music. It makes all the scenes feel more important than they really are. So manipulative. And vampires will always fascinate girls. Even though The Vampire Diaries is way better. But that goes without saying.

I respect your opinion and all, and with my being a comic, I should feel the same way, but I'm sorry. I don't. It's definitely a manipulative franchise in every way but it's the sappiest, purest, weirdest, most faux romantic love story that bends me into a pretzel. It's like I'm being entranced by the film in every single one I've seen. I feel I'm entitled to a guilty pleasure and Twilght, the books and movies are it. It's better than Jersey Shore. At least it isn't "real."

You have to keep in mind that first and foremost the Twilight franchise is based on books. Now, I didn't mind the first three books much. Then Breaking Dawn arrived and it was absolutely the most horrible book I ever read. I mean, I could barely finish it, it was that bad. Since the fans were adamant about the movie following the book by the letter, there was no other way this could have turned out. You can't make a good screenplay based on crap.

I'm in China trying to catch up on what's gone on in the U.S. since I've been gone. This Twilight thing is crazy... I don't get the obsession. The movies are absolutely horrible. I found myself hating the actors for the pain they are inflicting upon us. I'd highly recommend watching "How to Be" or listening to Robert P.'s singing if you fall into this rut. It seems like they are talented people with a crappy script. :P Make it end!!!

I can see why someone who hadn't read the books wouldn't like the Twilight movies, especially this one I guess. As a movie lover I totally get the criticisms of all the movies. But as someone who fell in love with the books all of the movies are special to me and I get really excited for the next one despite the flaws. Anybody who's loved a movie that they know isn't the best but is special to them in some way can understand maybe.

Also it's not a demon baby but half vampire and no human mother can survive which is why they had to turn Bella finally. So i can't hate it. As a fan i still think the movies are terrible by all standards. The screenwriter fails at her job. The director doesn't do his job. And Kristen Stewart bless her is miscast. And the make-up is terrible. I may like the books, but it doesn't mean i flail at the mess Summit calls movies.

I just watched the spoof version and half way, I thought I got to see the real Twilight to understand some of the jokes.
I thought while watching the spoof "Wow, they must be doing word from word in some scenes." but no, the spoof actually had better dialog in some scenes O.o
Not only that, I was watching the spoof and skipping around parts on the real Twilight and I got mixed up sometimes, watching the real one thinking it was the spoof because of the dialog or music...:/

I am a fan of the books, and was excited when the movies began. I was really obsessed with Twilight when the first movie came out, but after that no. I like Eclipse more than New Moon, but Breaking Dawn was SHIT. I actually got mad at everybody because they loved it. Ugh. Billy Burke was great though, as always.

When this film series began I wasn't a fan of it at all, however when I found out that the person responsible for the screenplays of this films. was a co-executive producer on Dexter I decided what the hell, let's see what she brings to this type of project. she failed in so many ways but I still respect her as a screenplay writer and I'm willing to forgive her. at the end of the day sometimes we write things that we regret later on in life, I am sure she will regret the films

Don't judge me! I actually loved the Twilight and New Moon books when they first came out. However, after the movies came out, I'm not so sure anymore. I haven't visited Twilight in awhile, but I do remember that the books were different/unique back in its time. I hated the last 2 books though. And the movies are even worse. They feel even cheesier than actual cheese.
So what I'm trying to say is that people make Twilight sound like pure crap when the first 2 books weren't that bad.
