this is worth watching. BUT the C64 version is poor. Even the spectrum version is better by Atarisoft. This version, the Vic 20 and the Atari 800 cartridge versions are not very realistic. They are colourful however, and have interesting sounds.
The Atari 800 and Commodore 64 are very comparable in terms of performance. And yet the Atari 400/800 version of Galaxian was far superior than the C64 version.
Who made Galaxian? ATARI! They also ported it both to their own home computer (1982), the Atari 800, and to its competitor, the C64 (1983)! So they deliberately made that poor version of Galaxian for the C64, so people would think "C64 is shit! Look, the Atari 800 is much better."
