My least favorite part of Lost Labyrinth is the puzzle with the sliding walls somewhere in Act 2 because it's WAY too hard! I give Sega some slack though since Act 2 was supposedly a lot worse originally (Sonic in the mine cart with the tilting background for the whole level instead of running with a torch).

Sonic starting a game slow and needing to grind up to earn speed. Shadow's gun. Basically every new character post-Dreamcast. Terrible physics in Sonic 4. Game-breaking bugs in every 3d game's collision detection. Painful, infantile or super-hardcore scripts. The fact so many superior fan attempts at 3d styles exist. I'm out of characters.

@Dangerous2099 actually from what ive seen there actually more liek composites, for instance in this ther are aspects of labyrinth, the mine zone & aquatropolis zone... excuse any miss spellings (health problems) but really that what you get when you reboot the oldeschool sonic games, they share certain tropes.... seriously didnt you notice that ther has been about a dozen Green/Emerald Hill Zones that before you count all the other hills and panic zones that are reminicent. (i wont buy tho)

@apex2000 Yea I know there have been similar zones in the past, but the two zones of sonic 4 shown so far are practically identical in the way they look as well as name to zones from Sonic1. Heck, even the first boss is taken straight from the first game! This is definitely feeling more like Sonic HD than Sonic 4 right now, and it's disappointing.

It's a little harder to pin down release dates for downloadable games. Once it's finished, it has to go through certification. Once it's certified, it has to come out on a day when a given online service updates. Hell, I don't think Xbox LIVE Marketplace, the PlayStation Store, or the Wii Shop Channel even update on the same day of the week, so pinning it down to one release date probably isn't even possible.

hmm...maybe they shouldn't have added the homing attack in the game, so the game doesn't become to noob-friendly? i mean, those who played the original first 3 sonic games should remember what it was like before homing attack and with its addition, sonic's only gotten that much more easier. plus there's always a part in a level where the only way to get past is by homing attack, that got old after sonic adventure 1...

It's seems simple enough and I’m sure Sega could make another 16-bit game and still have the same old gameplay. For example Capcom made Mega Man 9 and 10 8-bit and it still had the same gameplay from previous Mega Man games.

@JCVDbaby I have played the classic games and i must say. they have stuff i don't like. for example. you can never run as fast as you want because enemies pop out of nowhere and hits you, forcing you to slow down. and the difficulty is unfair as hell when it comes to some of the stages.(Especially water stages.

Despite the fact Sonic and Knuckles took place just SECONDS after Sonic 3, it not Sonic 4.

Sonic 3 was split in half because of time constraints and cartridge size, so they had to release the game as Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles, but you can lock on both games, so you can play them in one.

Okay this in theory looks cool. People who have played the original will know that in Sonic 3, Sonic in one level hopped on a snow board, but for only a short while. Hopefully this mine cart part is only a quick part of the game because where Sonic shined was how fast he moved so hopefully it is not going to end up being like Braid. Braid is fantastic but it is NOT what sonic is all about.
