hey idrum nice counter thats exactly what i would of done, its a shame about the break but im sure you both understood the dangers of jujitsu competition before you stepped onto the mat .never mind the haters mate they aint got a clue just chattin fart
He shouldn't do anything different because he won. It is obvious he didn't intentionaly break the guys arm. The other guy could have yelled/tapped, but an accident occured, end of story. Congrats on the win.
Man I'm torn on this one. I love the kimura grip from standing, especially if I lose the grip battle or they get my back. You get so much control with it. I purposely work takedowns from this position so I don't have to resort to this. There are a couple that Karo uses, and both are effective. One of them ends up with uke landing on his head, and likely knocking him out. I wouldn't feel bad about doing that in a tournament. But ripping their arm out? Yeah he's not training for a while.
This dude should have known better,He could let go of the Kimura, He didn't even looked sorry. No sportmanship. Hell it wasn't a street fight, WHAT AN ASSHOLE!!
I agree man, he didnt even come up and checked the other guy. He just didnt give a damn. No sportsmanship whatsoever. Asshole and this is why people look at our sport of BJJ as bad one cos of idiots like that who just dont know how to behave.
you can hear me ask him if he's alright a 4:34. and i did let go of the kimura when i felt his shit rip. and, i didn't feel sorry it's part of the sport, i've had my shoulder ripped and didn't expect sympathy i shouldn't have got caught. i just congratulated the dude on his gold. bitches
Maybe you should take an example of finer fighters such as GSP who represents what a true sportsman should be.You think by not feeling sorry you will somehow be a better fighter? Realise that this IS a sport now war. So man up and have some courage to show some sportsmanship and care for the other despite what other has for you. You will be a better man. Bitch
hahahahaha, what did GSP show BJ that i didn't? i asked if he was ok and he said yes. i didn't jump up and down and celebrate. i accepted a compliment from the ref about the maneuver, went to my coaches, and then left the mat. stop hating.
I honestly don't think that you did anything disrespectful after the win. Shit gets broken it's part of the sport and every fighter should go in the competition knowing that that's a possibility. Good Job
and all this talk about what i could have done. he could've rolled or yelled but instead he took it like a man and suffered an injury. he wasn't mad, the ref wasn't mad, officials weren't mad, my coaches weren't mad, his coaches weren't mad, why are you? hater
I think youdidnt show sportsmanship, you think you id, but what id lke you to do is maybe take the criticism in a positive way and think "maybe i could do it differently etc" you dont sound like a bad guy but I thought it was not representative of a cencern for a fellow competitor. Thats all
Work him low into side control or guard then finish the move with steady pressure or roll him backwords and take side control. This is a move you shouldn't jerk/explode into one you have the lock. Secure position, then apply needed pressure for the tap. You are a heavy weight and you tried to take his hand over his head. It wasn't bad sportsmanship just irresponsible and sloppy.
yeah it was pretty sloppy. only had been trainin for a month. don't know if ya'll even knew that. thanks for tellin me what i could've done instead of just bitching about what i did do. i was just tryna to mimic sak to be honest
i'm guessing both of you are judokas?
