i love of all his stuff but (although i hate to say) i have to say that i really wish he wouldn't have lost the kinky sexy raunchiness of kiss and swallow..am i alone here? i love the elegance of everything after but...he seems to have left the tone of that first album completely behind :( he did it better than anyone so i'm left with somewhat of a void

I think it could be argued that you already will never be the same, having not even met him. Chris Corner's music from his Sneaker Pimp days on up have changed my being in small but enormous ways. It's amazing and beautiful how much music changes people that have never and will never meet yet are intimately connected in an eternal and ephemeral way(musician to fan&fan to fan). Thinking on it really reminds one of how much a difference one person really does make in the end.

i pre-ordered the album last month and got it not even a week after its release. this is honestly, imho, one of the BEST albums i've ever had the great pleasure of actually BUYING! <3 it was worth the anticipation. the artwork, the music, everything goes gently together in a storm of indescribable beauty~ this is my favorite track on the CD. :}

I know that they are popular, but I really don't see what is so good about this band. It's really mediocre stuff, even after you get over the annoying trip hop influenced drums.
