  • tascam or this one.which is the best.i wanna buy one but i have no idea.anybody help me??

  • @zafergash i´m about to buy the h4n, in my experience, tascam has better portable studios than handy recorder.

  • is this weather sealed?

  • A CAR ADAPTER ? *LOL*.... better take closer look at that CAR ADAPTER, friend. It's a mic clip adapter.

  • i love its the first time youve opend it and you already have mastered all of the features by looking at it

  • Ah! I was not aware of the external mic jack! This removes one of major shortcomings I had seen in this unit. I could theoretically use four mic sources NOT resident on the H4n. The mics are vulnerable on this unit. One drop and you're hosed.

  • I wish the H4n had metal bars on top of the condensers so the they don't just stick out . Looks like they could easily damage in your pocket or a small fall

  • Cant deal with the voice.

  • @AdlerChalk I'm in radio, I always get a chuckle when I listen to someone who is in love with their own voice. The vocal gymnastics can be quite fun to listen to ;-)

  • @VTine7 Yeah, it is newer, that's why it is called H4n. The n stands for "next".

The H4n is more expensive than the H2, it has flexible microphones and 2 additional inputs for external microphones. Just google ;)

  • Hi I'm Tom fron Chicopee Paranormal, I just got the Zoom H4N and I will be trying to capture EVPs with it. If I capture anything I will post it on my channel.

  • man i need either one of these!!!

  • some companies that remain nameless do not come with

    holds sony recorder*

  • Im getting mine tomorrow!

And, yes... simultaneous recording with the internal mics and external inputs is possible with this thing, and it is one of the few recorders that can do it.

  • do you know if i can record using an external mic (using XLR cable with phantom power) AND using the built in mics of the H4n simultaneously?

  • im pretty sure you can, i think i saw it on the zoom site or another review. no guarantees though.

  • @kungura Yes, you can record 2 xlr inputs in addition to the internal mics simultaniously.

  • I am very much enjoying this video, I was thinking of buying an H4n.

Unboxing new toys is always a fun moment.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • Brad that's not a car adapter but a thing to put it on a microphonestand :)

  • @thuyviola That's what I was thinking, LOL!

  • Check out my test with the H4n on Maui's windy north shore. Peace out-

  • I had a H4 and sold it to buy a H4n

the H4n is so much easier to access the menus and the display screen is a major improvement form the H4

  • Nice. It looks a lot better than the older version.
