Cool beat man. Nice and chill beat. Drums a bit too loud. I enjoy your stuff though. Check out this one beat i have up on my page. Ima post some more up soon.
since reason don't have time strach, how do you find the right tempo? i have mpd32,and reason...but I feel like I'm missing something..how did you get so good? by the way ,you are a great inspiration to me! 5!
just pitch the sample up or down. On the Rex theres a little keyboard underneath the wave form display... just choose one of the keys and you can tweak it to the speed you need.
do you hook each of your your redrum sounds up to your mixer individual? ive been tryin to get my drums to bump like that but i cant figure it out gahhh
Depends... I sometimes run my kicks on one redrum, snares on a second, and high hats on a third so I can apply individual effects on each. Compression can help out too...
nice dude thanks for the help, i love your beats man keep up the good work this are the videos that inspired me to get my mpd in the first place, dog your kicks are banging i need to get mine soundin that crisp, do you put a EQ on it or what?
Try putin your kick sample through a Comp-01 compressor and wire each hit into its own channel in the mixer.. gives you alot more control over the perameters. how i do it any way.
@timmyg1984 thats true... most of the time im lazy and just run everything through one compressor. Lately ive been using a mastering compressor on the redrum
I find that these beats with very low view counts are really nice. I don't know how some beat are having thousands of views and are barely mediocre. Good work playa. Check out my beats when you get a chance.
lol... I actually got the nickname from the bdp song "jimmy" but I know the jungle brothers song your talking about! And yes... I'm old enough ha ha ha
That beat is so sick, dude. Props
