  • @BCEXTREME311 Start looking for a replacement phone. Most of the time a water damaged phone has more items that blow out or are damaged than are worth fixing. Basically it would cost more to replace all the bad parts than just replace the phone.

  • Hey, my friend dropped her Blackberry Pearl in some water and now has the "white screen of death". What do you suggest? Would it just need a replacement of the screen or the entire motherboard? Please get back to me ASAP. Thanks

  • Most of the time when a phone is dropped into water there are more than one issue with it. I suggest replacing the phone or upgrade.

  • Thanks a million for the video. The pearl button on mine goes dead and I have to use the enter key. I used some alcohol and it worked however the alcohol got behind the glass and it's all fuzzy, that's why I need to take apart. Is there a better fix for the dead pearl button?

After dissecting and cleaning out the dirt and salts (residue from tap water) my phone works great again! All you need is a Torx (T6) and one very small flathead screwdriver.

After purchasing the right tool, and some alcohol, and watching your video twice, I was able to take apart, clean, and put my blackberry together within a half hour. And it now works again! Your video saved me the cost of a new phone!!!!($475)I wasnt worried about the warantee as I dont think it going through a wash cycle is covered in it anyway. And thank you for you informative video!!!!
