  • windsor is the best ohl team

  • i gotta say that was a very tight game, 2-1 in OT, lets go Spits!

  • Memorial Cup / Coupe Memorial was won for Mickey Renaud and the City of Windsor :D

  • 3:43 - THAT'S how you shoot !!! He had that stick at 90degrees from the ice... BOOM!

  • man what an awsome time to buy season tickets the ebst team in ohl history

and they get the win in game 5 plus coming back from 0-2 in momorial cup Out Standing Great Job Boyz Lets do It Agian!!!!

  • i wouldnt be so quick to call them the best team in OHL history, but they were certainly a pretty awesome team and up there, they did a great job

  • your right battalionmedia i wouldn't be so quick to call them the best team in ohl history either, this years spits are! :) :) :)

  • 2005 London Knights were way better...

    Dave Bolland

    Corey Perry

    Dylan Hunter

    Marc Methot

    Robbie Schremp

    Dan Fritsche

thats a hell of a lineup

  • Richard Panik Greg Nemisz Dale Mitchell Adam Henrique Taylor Hall Kenny Ryan Cam Fowler Ryan Ellis Eric Wellwood Scott Timmins 2005 Knights = PWNT
  • See but I think what you're forgetting is, the London Knights are gay, so.....

  • the 2005 London Knights say hello!

  • congrats Windsor what a team to come from 0-2 like that and win mem cup that shows true character and determination and the heart of a champion . As an OHL fan I can honestly say that the 09 spits were the best ohl team I have ever seen since they excel in all areas even better then the 05 london knights . In my opinion 09 spits best OHL team ever . Even though London won it in 05 they had home ice advantage and the spitfires had to come from a big hole to win it . Let me know your opinions.

  • 0:26 a fucking amazing hit by who else the 5'9" Ryan Ellis the kid has a huge slap shot and can throw his body around too :)

  • the spits are playing like crap in rimouski..

  • not anymore haha

  • Look at Avalanche's new center ! Matt Duchene, welcome aboard mate !

  • 3:18 i am on TV!-i am waving the towel!!

  • the refs gave the spitfires the series... Windsor is a great team but the refs really need to call the game fair

  • That was a pretty rediculous comment. That was a questionable call in an overtime for sure, but the refs gave Windsor the series? They were clearly the better team from beginning to end.

  • Comment removed

  • You don't win a series in 5 games because of the refs.

  • lmao i love the reaction of taylor. hes like aaahhh yeah

  • I was there and it was so awesome!

    Go Spits Go!

Bring the Memorial Cup back to Windsor! Good luck boys!

  • back to windsor? it's never been here hun.. ;-)

  • i know that, i just meant WIN IT

  • It was a pretty cool experience live..Hard to believe that Warren and Bougie could turn it around SO fast, but then again it's a clear indicator that this kind of turnaround IS Possible in professional sports (i'm looking at YOU, Detroit Lions!)

I think our team has as much talent as anyone's in the Memorial Cup, but I have to say that the Spits' inability to win a faceoff to save their lives is something that worries me.

    Should be an awesome tournament!

    Go Spits!

  • "this kind of turnaround IS Possible in professional sports (i'm looking at YOU, Detroit Lions!) "

Much to my chagrin, I'm NOT looking at the Lions as winners...until William Clay Riolo either dies or sells the team, that is.

  • One of the greatest moments of my life here!! I figure that the Leafs might not win the Stanley Cup for a while so this is the closest thing there is. And plus Windsor is my hometown as well so I would always cheer for my Spits. Brampton really fought hard this season to make it this far.

    GO SPITS GO!!!!

  • I agree 100% at least one of my teams won :)

  • i love ohl hockey blows the nhl away as a fan i can say that windsor is a very special squad and has an excellent shot at winning the cup represent us well Spits congrats on a great season and yes I do agree with everyone the call was questionable but the spits executed a little bit more consistently in all aspects of the game

  • i agree, i live in peterborough and in 2005 when we went to the mem cup that was the best and most exciting hockey i've ever seen in my life. although i'm also in love with the leafs so i can't say that it blows the nhl away lol.

  • "It's really nice when you see this kind of comraderism" LOL....

Gotta love those made up words by the announcers.

  • Its not about the call...its about putting the puck in the back of the net...Batts couldn't on the PP and the Spits did.

OT or no OT, the entire game last night was OT.

  • I am a DIE HARD spits fan, but that was a really weak call, especially in OT of an elimination game.

Congrats to the Batallion for a great season and the best of luck next year.

  • Thanks for posting this..

It was a bit of a tough penalty to call in OT of a Championship game....

But then again, i think alot of penalties went uncalled throughout the course of the series, so.. I guess it all kinda evens out..

  • Go Spits Go!!!!! Bring home the Memorial Cup boys!

  • woo hoo! I was there, it was awesome!

  • Thanks again for posting this. Brampton give it all they had against a stacked Spits team. Has for the penalty in OT the've called it all year long so it could have went either way. GO SPITS GO!!!!!

  • What a weak call in OT
