...this i s painful in my chest for me to watch...takes me so far back....i really miss the 80s..best tv ever..these shows were exellent and we watched em all as a family...dont get much of that anymore

The show really was not great, but the soundtrack I still adore. And Barbara Stanwyck did a great job on the show even if she hated doing it. After her character was killed you could forget about the show completely - except maybe some scenes when Maxwell took off his shirt ;)
Well, he taped almost every show's intro on network TV. Like we have to keep telling every new person, syndicated and cable shows were not captured, except during a short period in the 1995 batch, where a few first-run syndie programs appear.
