  • i first heard n.o. ladies in a small bar. why i loved it like i did is beyond me, but i made many a trip to that little bar just to hear it again. it got to the point that when the band saw me coming they began to play n. o. ladies.memories...memories...m­emories.

  • We love nola! The pic of the lucky dog vendor brought back great memories! We took my parents down for vac. stayed at the Sonesta on Bourbon. Had the great big balcony. There was a bucket to lower for the lucky dog vendor to send up dogs and retrieve money. Well my daddy wanted one. The vendor was lit, his cooker was not. Daddy couldn't understand all the fuss about the hot dogs. His was not cooked. It was a hoot!!

  • What a great song! I first heard it at NIGHTTOWN in Destin, FL when LeRoux played there...such a packed house it was seriously like sardines can! This was in the 70's.

    I remember being a party girl on the bus with the band but that's about it for the memory part...LOL. Your slideshow with this song makes it really special....Thanks. Good Job!!
