My guess is that cos this song has a similar riff to rem's most well known song "everybody hurts" shes jumped to the conclusion that they all sound the same. If she was to take some time to listen to rem's albums she'll see how innovative and creative they were over their career.

I rememberer that back in high school I was so in love with a girl and this song just came perfectly to me in time cause I bought "Monster" on a friday. On the following saturday I went to this girl's birthday party and I found out that she already had a boyfriend. Imagine how I felt. Back home that night I just went to my bedroom, played this song on my cd player and I just started crying. Since then, this is one of my favs. from them.
