West Virginia joined the Union under the condition that it could keep its slaves. As well as a few western states. Most norther states did not abolish slavery and kept it around, but the public in the north had no reason or care for slaves. Fredrick Douglas a famouse man, was a slave in Massachusets for a while, later when he ran away and freed himself, he formed the first all black regiment for the union, his own sons took firt enlistment.

not everyone in the south is happy over Lincoln invading and killing because he could get what he wanted. and yeah, if it took a civil war to break the south from the north again bring it, hell i'd fight in it. and lmao i know alot of people who think the same thing. If the south would of won we'd been alot better off, at least we're hard working, polite, good cooking, people. Hell i've been up north ya'll have to be some of the rudest people i've ever came across.

lmao, not everyone here is a "redneck" and not everyone here discriminates. I would never use that word to describe anyone or anything nor would people in my family and the majority of the town i live in and around. In fact do you know that in the south we have better racial relations than in the north? And hun you can go anywhere and get called a "sandn--er" not just here. I live in the appalachia we work, stay out of people's bussness, and yes are polite. some are rude but not many at all. ;]
