  • This album is heavily influenced by Sandinista by the Clash.

  • Luv The Aggrolites, that's the reason i got this record!

In my opinion this combo Aggrolites+Armstrong sounds better than the Transplants...

  • can some 1 tell me other artists like this... not like rancid but like this two tone reggae punk feel... not the clash either. thanks.

  • Hepcat is even more Jamaican sounding than this, Allstonians used to be Laurel Aitkens back up band. Lets Go Bowling, Toasters are probably my favorite, maybe a little more popish than this, but basicaly the band that ska going in the U.S.

  • @skitzey check out the aggrolites..ok ok they are the back up band here for armstrong you should check it

  • buy a trojan records box set. either rock steady or skinhead reggae.

  • he likes em slutty he's a poet its his destiny to be fucked over by them so that way he can write more songs :) in a way this guy is beautiful pretty gay to say that but just saying...

  • I swear thats Kat Von D in the video????

    0:49??

  • "Grab my newports, smoke in da ayuhh!"

  • what the...why is Tim always surrounded by slutty girls dancing in his videos? haha. that's like something you would see in a hip hop video. not putting down Tim or anything, just wondering what's the deal with the girls.

  • smelling jalousy

  • i think thats the date 'a poet's life' came out..

  • Ja its more like spoken word poetry but very good

  • This actually really surprised me. I can't stand the Transplants, and I'm not a fan of Rancid, yet this is really good!

  • That's the funny thing about Tim- I'm up and down with his stuff. I only like a percentage of Transplants, a little of Op Ivy, quite a bit of Rancid....

I think its hard to nfind anyone who loves it all because he can be all over the place XD

  • I like almost all of it

  • i don't care what this jam is called why do people have to name good music like this just feel the jam, music is music people!

  • doesn't anybody realize that this isn't even a ska tune? can nobody differentiate reggae and ska?

the aggrolites are an early reggae/skinhead reggae band. they don't really play ska...well, except for "into action," which is pretty much a 2-tone style ska song.

calling this "ska" is like calling the blues "jazz."

  • I would even have a hard time calling this reggae. I agree with it being a bit of spoken word. He is barely singing, but then again, Greg Graffin doesn't sing in a lot of Bad Religion stuff, but that's pop-punk.

    Reggae: yes

    Ska: some

You could even say it has some hip hop influence.

  • Did you just call Bad Religion Pop-Punk?

  • how the hell is this hip hop influenced?

  • Hip Hop, Not Rap

  • first off

    not ska rap

    at all

    2nd off

lint is not the king of ska

    desmond dekker is

    and will always be!

  • I would say ska rap, more like ska spoken word, or just basic rhythms to some mad chill shit.

  • gimme heroin

  • heron heron its all gone, you smoked it all up and now you got none

  • could anything sound tougher than those t-plant lyrics?

  • Music = Life

    Live a Fun One

    Listen to Ska!

    Tim Armstrong's my HERO!!

  • Goddamn right.

  • lol next wave of ska...ska rap!......anyway, rancid's playing tonight in philly!!!! ahh i can't wait!!!!!

  • Yea baby
