i have watched many of Ana Vidovics videos and something that has always bothered me about her playing is her tempo control. I realize that part of the classical guitars appeal is the tempo changes but she has sometimes not done them musically and being a drummer this bothers me.. In this performance she nailed it!! Alot of respect to a beyond talented musician!!! Really pretty too ;)

This is not what Paganini wrote. She's playing an arrangement, adding some violin parts to the guitar. And she doesn't play armonics at the end of codetta. Apart from that, I think there's no idea of what is the style of the italian music of the early 19th century...sounds like Leo Brouwer in formaline,,,

I quite agree with waxpusher, after having listened to many guitarists on youtube, on that she displays little emotion. However the technique is perfect, there is nothing to blame for that. It's just .... there is a little touch missing for it to be breathtaking.

Where is she getting all of these octaves from in the exposition? Marco Tomayo does the same thing in his recording. The score I have doesn't include these. Is this a common performance practice with Early Romantic / Late Classical music or is there another version of the score? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
