This is also my favorite cutscene, followed right after by "This is the hour" cutscene where the portal to The Ark opens in New Mombasa... Both scenes deliver amazing music, all thanks to Marty O'Donnel.

at 1:04 in the top right hand side you see the human ship barely, and the HUGE covenant ship, no wonder the UNSC got their asses kicked right back to earth!

The UNSC ship is a frigate, which is primarily designed to escort and support larger ships. And the Assault Carrier is one of the Covenant's largest ships. The Pillar of Autumn was considered a "small" ship, but it's enormous, really. And it's easily dozens of times bigger than a frigate.

At 1:10 look at the Ark's surface just under the Covenant ship (lower right), doesn't those geometric formations look like a city? If the Ark is supposed to be a safe place for some time, shouldn't it have cities built on it or structures for living so anyone on it would be able to survive?

There's so many secrets on the Ark that we never got to see besides the Terminals. Like the planet core of the Ark, relics, remains of the Forerunner (a mausoleum, museum, or something)...

The Elite fleet was completely destroyed with only the Shadow of Intent surviving (probably because it's the biggest of them all). Unless there are others in orbit we didn't see or they turned back.
