  • cool dude, did you have to do any modification to get the throttle body to fit the m50 manifold?with the setup your using, whats the drivabilty of the car like before you got your tune fitted? thanks for your help dude, do you have a build thread anywhere?

  • @nigelfoley1985 the throttle body was the same. it drove fine with the stock ecu, but after i put the chip and knn air filter, i notice a big difference. i want to go to the dyno in the coming month, so stay tuned.

  • had you much trouble fitting the throttle boy and air flow meter with this set up?

  • @nigelfoley1985 no problems what so ever. its close but clears everything.

  • 1jamaicanlovrboy. ya it's up and running good, i got a turner chip and a knn filter. let's just say that this shit screams, especially when Vanos kicks, i pulls hard.

  • @mye30m50 the m50 m52 have the same bore. so the m50 pistons don't impact the valves. I always thought they would. So, I'm guessing its prob about a 2.6 or .7 displacement. I'de like to see the dyno results. so 93 octane is good enough for this compression??

  • @bimmerbum1 im using a 2.8 crank. my displacement should b closer to 2.8 - 2.9. im running 91 octane, witch is the highest i can get in Ca, for pump gas. i will try to get a dyno run here shortly. :)

  • this thing is gonna fly, are you ready lol....so what disp is it now?.

  • kaxa523. not sure, gonna dyno it here shorty. will have a vid of it also.

  • how many rwhp does it have? :)

  • you have a dog in your intake

  • the head has double valve spring with m3 cams, but if your gonna do my set up it wont be good for boost because of the high compression. and you switch to manual!

  • Just got a '94 4door 325i thats beat up, looking to rebuild/stroke the motor, possibly delete VANOS and go megasquirt, and turbo it (diy build). so this is just a 325 block/pistons with a 328 crank? what about the head? i also have an auto, not sure if i should replace the auto with a rebuilt one, or swap to a manual. Most of my experience is with mustangs, so this BMW stuff is new to me as i dont know the limitations.

  • that's a beast

  • How do you lower the compression?

  • how much are you planning to get power out of it ?

  • dyno it?

  • Very nice now get that cooling system hooked up =P

  • What kind of headers?

  • lotta stuff isnt hooked up to make it driveable

  • @MetalicB0x . its a work in progress, but it's just enough to get it running,

  • i used a 328 crank and rods with 325 pistons and block. it makes the compression ratio go up to 11.25, and the 328 crank is also forged.

  • what did you use to get higher compression? s52 crank?

  • @sethum1. m52 328 crank and rods with 325 pistons.
