@curleyfryz01 You're right, Mr.Stark referenced in the trailer here is in fact Tony Stark's father, Howard Stark who is one of the supporting characters in this movie. However Howard Stark is not in the Avengers movie since hes already dead by then since its been 70 years later. He was also mentioned in Iron man 1 and 2 about his death and legacy.

I really hate how Captain America's group is so cosmopolitan. Like back then that would not matter to anyone. They could have even used this to show how good Captain America really is. For example the black guy in his group being picked on and Cap standing up for him, which would not have been something typical back then. But it seems movies try to make us forget that people have been racist pricks throughout history.

@curleyfryz01 You're right, Mr.Stark referenced in the trailer here is in fact Tony Stark's father, Howard Stark who is one of the supporting characters in this movie. However Howard Stark is not in the Avengers movie since hes already dead by then since its been 70 years later. He was also mentioned in Iron man 1 and 2 about his death and legacy.

I really hate how Captain America's group is so cosmopolitan. Like back then that would not matter to anyone. They could have even used this to show how good Captain America really is. For example the black guy in his group being picked on and Cap standing up for him, which would not have been something typical back then. But it seems movies try to make us forget that people have been racist pricks throughout history.

CGI makes another invaluable contribution to the movie, by shrinking the 6-foot Chris Evans into a vertically challenged 90-pound weakling, and then expanding him dramatically into the muscular Captain America.
