I do die a lot, and yeah the magus is kind of a 1-trick-star, but it's a fun trick :)

lol, tell that to me when I'm in the top 5 dps on every BG im in...unless im caught lol. Magus do die really easy. I don't know about 1 trick though, PvE I can take several enemies at once, grinding through PQ's is a breeze. And RvR, you the dot the hell out of a group of people, then start single casting DPS on healers and on down the line to tanks. The magus can be complicated if you use the spells correctly and plan out your attacks. Just my opinion when I play lol!
