Trans-B is not even close to bondsteel. and if we were in the region for that pipe, then why even build bondsteel? when Camp Able Sentry (CAS) in Skopje was much closer with railways and an airstrip. and it is also not the largest overseas US base, Ramstein Air Base in Germany is. Bondsteel is huge, I was there when it was just a grass field with a rusty tractor on it and watched it become the small city it is. I drove the surrounding towns and saw first hand the aftermath of the hell those people went through. Helped refugees return to their homes from Macedonia, even assisted in restoring function to a bread factory that was struggleing to supply the local towns.
