  • i love how this band is basically blind guardian 2.

that said, this is one of my favorite songs and i love this band

  • Tiene un aire a Blind Guardian...saludos desde Argentina!

  • putos satanicos de mierda no sabeis apreciar la musica de verdad

  • And people who argue about power metal vocals and screaming please look feedback, listen to music for 10+ years, know every instrument and how much skills you need to do each vocal, then argue your opinion, im sick of these people who say screaming or w/e vocal style suck.. learn to listen music

  • Yeah!

  • One of my favorite songs of all time by far! Well done Savage Circus!

  • singer sounds exactly like hansi musics grreat i love the speed metal type riffs and drum beats mixed with the epic power metal vocals

  • @powerslaveiron49 if it wouldn't be "Savage Circus" in the title,I'll probably, think of it as new Blind Guardian's song

And who is the singer?my guess that was Hansi, but that's not BG,so...?

    PS:sorry for my bad english

  • @mazanakaUA Thomen Stauch (former drummer of Blind Guardian) started this band, which is probably why they have a heavy influence from them. The singer is Jens Carlsson. It's been rumored that he is Hansi's long lost, unknown twin brother :)

  • This is fucking sweetness

  • Great music!

But Thome should return to BG, I miss him on their new album... And SC cant be BG 2.0, there can be only one BG ;P

  • @floidmoon Blind is gone dude, thats the truth. Hansi got addicted to his precious orchestral songs and to sing every fucking song 12 times making different tone of voices, like he was a choir of one man huauhahuahuahuauh.

He should remeber that one scream is better than 12 fucking voices.

  • @Arcandus I'm very happy that Blind is with this new sound (which i think is awesome) and that other bands are following their old school style path. In fact i think it is the best of the worlds.

    But that's me ^^

  • @Arcandus no screaming is musical and everything you just said leads me to beleif you know absolutely nothing about music

  • @powerslaveiron49 "No screaming is musical": are you fucking gay? Besides, I don't fucking care about what morons think of music.

  • @powerslaveiron49 what you just said leads me to believe you know absolutely nothing about music.

because its not like taste in music is SUBJECTIVE or anything

  • @Donut117 no its realy not theres music that makes musical since and is good.......and rarely is screaming used in that music realy people that listen to music with screamers are just talentless emotional morons who dont understand what music is.....

  • @powerslaveiron49 most, not all. simply saying "screaming" is not music is such a broad and ignorant assumption that its not even worth having the discussion if thats where youre gonna go with it.

ill agree with this: stuff like bullet for my valentine and august burns red, they need to shut up. thats terrible screaming.

the screaming in stuff like blind guardian's older albums and the occasional scream in this kind of music can add a lot to the energy of the piece.

  • @Donut117 oh wow i thought you were one of those errogant assholes who thought screaming some how made the music beter........ turns out youre one of those assholes who thinks he knows more about music than the actual musicians who wrote the piece he feels the need to critic

  • @powerslaveiron49 what the fuck. i dont even know where to start with that. how are you any different saying "no screaming is music" and calling people who scream talentless?

what part of "music is subjective" dont you understand? im telling you why i dont like certain types of screaming, but why i do like others. the point is to give an example of a place where screaming does add to the music. youre sitting here saying "screaming is not music" straight up. im telling you why not. l2 read.

  • 最高だ! #from japan #followmeJP #sanrentan701

  • can't say how i loooooooove this song!

  • increible este disco

  • kct!!escutem o pedal duplo do kra da batera,LOL!!!!

  • Dreamland Manor will always be my favourite album in the power metal categories. I know that Savage Circus is a like Blind Guardian 2.0, but I like the songwriting on this album a lot more, it's like a Greatest Hits album, all the songs are a beast.

Perhaps it's because I read that Thomen had already written these songs but not released them in Blind Guardian, so I'm guessing he already had everything on the table when he started Savage Circus.

    A true masterpiece album.

  • But i have to say: THIS project is way better than demons and wizards.

  • @Gundoldingen lol No.

  • album cover is cheap and ugly...

    nevermind...

I think so because band where plays Tomen worth of coolier album art :)))

  • awesome!!!!

  • This is perhaps one of the best opening build-ups to a song I have ever heard, and they have three or four of these on this album alone that can take that title.

  • @Decibelz15 That is one of the best things I have heard in a while....

  • Just saying, but does this sound like the intro to Entering Eternity by Falconer except shittier?

  • ein hammer lied!

  • We need more Blind Guardian-type of music. One bad thats pure awesomeness must be passed on to others.

  • Thomen is a fkn beast! Best drummer goin round! BG's last album just wasnt the same imo!

  • kickass music. still, in the cheese department, the lyrics make freedom call pale in comparison. two huge feats combined.

  • intro reminds me of blind guardian

  • @vett3l0l I find it more Avantasia-ish. this pwns Avantasia though

  • @MerelyConspicuous - Nah, not like Avantasia at all. Very close parallels to Blind Guardian. The singer could probably pull off sounding like Hansi near perfect.

  • love this band just got into them not long ago first song i heard was evil eys.

  • I really love the part at 3:26

  • they really need to make a tab book or someone needs to make some tabs of them cuz i really want to learn these songs and i cant learn from ear soooo ya

  • Even though not as epic--this is by far the only band I've heard that can compare to Blind Guardian in music/vocals etc. They're really good-but Carlssons no Hansi, but is still really really good

  • Look up Dark Empire and Persuader. Same vocalist again, somewhat similar in style.

  • Ya, I've heard of both of them. But imo Savage Circus shows off Carlssons vocals more than Persuader or Dark Empire. I donno, just my opinion

  • I dunno. Humanity Dethroned is a pretty good example. He's a great vocalist, but I find he's not that adaptable. All three bands are very similar. Still, that makes three great bands :P

  • good ol Thomas Staunch. Shame he is no longer the drummer of Blind Guardian :(

  • it is simillar to the iron savior project vocal and drums. its an alternative iron savior sound. IT ROCKS!!!!!

  • Truly a great song.

  • i can see the reason say he sounds like hansi, but it is different and he sounds different enough for the comparions to be invalid.

  • The singer has a simmilar voice to Hansi from Blind Guardian \m/

  • Drumming is briliant... Awsome band.

  • @d13vas because is thomen stauch (the ex drummer from blind guardian!) :D

  • If you go to their homepage, they're given out a demo for their upcoming album, not sure if that's the same people in the making though, but it sounds ok.

I doubt it will be as epic as this album though, this is one of my top albums.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. ;o

  • woa... the singer sounds just like the singer in Blind Guardian

  • his voice also sounds like sielk's.

  • Jens tries to sound too much like Hansi the music is good but jens needs to get his own sound.

  • ehh.. you can't argue with hansi's vocal style though. This guy just goes with what works, and does it well

  • This song reminds me of iron savior

  • With good reason- mmany of the people in Savage Circus moved on to Iron Savior, whihc left the band with too few people to make another album. I are make sad face :(

  • agreed

  • Iron Savior has been around a very long time man...

Savage Circus was just a side project from the guys in Persuader, with the BG drummer and the Iron Savior guitarist/singer...

  • yeah iron savior is older, i think the reason it stopped so soon is because the drummer isint doing too good, but i may be wrong, anyways persuader vocalist really has hansis vocals huh

  • Do you mean SC or IS stopped??

They had the same drummer... I think...

I doubt we'll see anything IS album sadly, Farewell and Goodbye kinda seems to have been a message. Farewell to the Iron Savior :(

  • yeah, "just"... but i think this is one of the best albums of all time... much better then everything from iron savior...

also, iron savior is a nice band too... ;-)

  • good song

  • Congrats, lucky man, you won lifelong ban from youtube, care it well!

  • this is better than blind guardian now, their old shit is the best but now they are ehhhhh not so good

  • Way to hop on the bandwagon.

  • what the fuck are you talking about?

  • There seems to be a lot of Blind Guardian fans saying their new stuff sucks. Which happens with quite a few bands...

  • yeah because some bands get less good as they go on, like metallica. also i only like helloween's old shit. but some bands like judas priest are still kicking major ass

  • Yep, since Helloween got a new lead vocalist they suck.

Or, to be more precisely, since Kai Hansen left them to found Gamma Ray.

Savage Circus are good, but they really sound like some older Blind Guardian songs. I'd rather listen to the Guardian stuff than to Savage Circus - especially, Guardian are getting far better at the moment.

  • Wicked ^^

  • btw, what Font is that?? :D

  • yeah i guess you're right. the new blind guardian stuff is really alternative compared to their old stuff. Circus tries harder and is more original.. in a way.. but its also partially BG cuz the drummer made it. but now he quit the band for some reason..

  • personnaly, I think this band is WAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better then BG, say whatever you want, their sound, the deepness of the vocals, it's making them unique their sound is the best I'm really loving it. but that's just my opinions say whatever you like I don't care

  • How can you prefer this band to BG? What do you find in this band that is better than BG music? IT'S THE SAME FUCKIN' THING! SAME FUCKIN' MUSIC AND SAME FUCKIN' VOICE!! and I must tell you: SC is just a BG replica. And how can you say "their sound, the deepness of the vocals, it's making them unique their sound is the best" ? MAKING THEM UNIQUE???? UNIQUE????? FREAKIN' UNIQUE????? C'mon man, there's nothing unique in that band. Just buy a real BG record and not Forgotten Tales and you'll see.

  • Well technically, this album is better than BGs last. It has nothing on the older records like IFTOT, but currently this is better.

  • yes this is better than "a twist in the myth" but this sounds excatly like BGs older and better albums. I love BGs older albums so this is suites me perfectly. bought the album of swedenrockshop after hearing evil eyes :)

  • so why did he quit BG? just to enter another band that wants to sound like BG. just dont make sense to me. did he just want more control in the band and personal fame or just wasnt happy with the crew in BG? im not knocking him just cant figure that one out. the music is similer but missing the certen feel BG has.

  • he wantet more of the old BG and not the new one. beside he have quitet SC to.

  • its the same progressive epic-power metal with heavy influenes from blind guardian, iron saviour, iced earth and demons&wizards.the music is perfect and very similar to the cllasic epic metal of guardians.thomes stauch was one of the best veteran drummers in the world

  • they sound soo much like blind guardian.

  • Although, that being said, they are obviously influenced heavily by Blind Guardian. Then again, who isn't?

  • @DeaThShiNoBi69 They do have the ex-drummer from Blind Guardian

  • Savage Circus isn't the "result of Blind Guardian." That implies that Blind Guardian broke up and some of the former members made Savage Circus but that is not true. Only one member, Thomen Stauch, broke off of Blind Guardian and formed this band. Thoman was shooting for a sound similar to Blind Guardian and liked that the vocalist is similar to Hansi. Unfortunately, Thoman is not in the band anymore due to health problems, so currently, they don't have a whole lot to do with Blind Guardian.

  • You all suck

  • yes they do

  • decent but Blind Guardian kicks the shit out of these guys anyday

  • My friend, Blind Guardian kicks the shit out of every band.

  • id drink to that BUT i must confess Dream Theater is my all time favorite band...Blind Guardian isnt far behind though

  • Happy bullshit^^

  • Very nice song and nice lyrics^^

  • of course it's very similar to blind guardian....Thomen Stauch, the old drummer made this band to play music like old blind guardian...he liked the band so much that he left blind guardian for it...and they both fuckin rock!

  • Uhhh, Isn't Savage Circus the result of Blind Guardian? o.o

  • shady deth/liciow you suck dude ^^'

  • very similar to blind gaurdian, but who would complain about that,, good shit

  • ownage to tomorrowland

  • The fuckin best power metal album today

  • rs ^^
