I remember seeing this movie and I have it on video and I remember at the end that Mr. Bean secretly brought the original messed up "Whistler's Mother" painting back home with him. However, I wonder how he secretly brought it home without the museum owner and the museum curator knowing. If I were to take a guess, since he got rid of it from the museum in the middle of the night, maybe he mailed it at a 24 hour post office and when he got home, it was sitting outside his home brought by UPS.

That's true. I guess he should have done that since the museum was closed and nobody was around, including women. However, maybe he tried to use the women's bathroom but, he couldn't find the women's room keys or, there was so many keys that it was taking a long time for him to try each one, or maybe he dropped a lot of keys (including the men's and women's room keys) and was unable to find them.
