lol how gran turismo is going to have 10000 cars while forza has only 400 and they updated the graphics about 14 times since prolouge came out. the said thing is prolouge looks better then forza 3 and if ur one of those gay kids that say froza is better because u can add body kits well in gran turismo 5 u can add body kits

Just correcting you. GT5 is going to have 1000 cars not 10000 cars. Also they don't have damage liscenses for all the cars so some of them won't have any visual damage (and possible actual damage) at all. Also the Graphics on the PS3 are obviously going to be better in Gran Turismo as the PS3 has better graphics compared to the 360. Also nobody says that Forza is better due to body kits. They say its better due to quite a few features that Forza has that Grand Turismo doesn't have.

Car racing and boxing games have always had amazing graphics. Look at Gran Turismo 4 and Forza 1, from the previous generation of consoles. Those looked amazing already, but now they look even better!

The reason why it looks better than real life is because of surface refraction (the reflection off shiny surfaces), contrast ratio, color saturation, and lack of atmospheric particles like fog, dust, and smoke to make things look foggy. If you look at an image made from combining several photos taken from the same spot and angle, if the pictures have different contrasts and color, the combined image looks EXACTLY like something from a game.

I can do that, but my computer sucks. It takes like an hour to just render one image, I cant even imagine trying to render all that bump map on the floor, and all the reflections on the car, my computer would probably blow up in my face.

While renderings like this are certainly cool to look at, I've never really found them 'impressive'. The good news is the cars in GT5 look surprisingly close to this in real time. That I do find impressive.

what a beautiful model/car.

the body shape is extremely well balanced aesthetically.

there are a few issues though. it needs a hot lcd screen instead of the old-school stereo (put the stereo somewhere else).

why put the hvac vents so prominent? i guess it looks a little steampunk but it will get annoying and distracting after a short time.

yup, work on it on a almost daily basis... making the games 'you' may be playing at home... the graphics chip of the PS3 is inferior to anything else currently available on the PC, but there is nothing wrong with that. The PS3 is 3-4 years old now, so it is not surprising that more current video cards can do the same on PC..

Like I said, the demo looks stunning true... but nothing spectacular..
