Yet we sit back and wonder what the guy says, even though we know what just happened to the crowd of people that heard. It doesn't matter what the guy said and that's not the point. The point is that some things are better left untold for the better of all involved.
It's just funny that we want to know after seeing the consequences. Well done Radiohead.
It's ironic that people want to know what the guy said, because that is in fact the point Radiohead is trying to make with this video. You saw what happened to the crowd of people once the man told them what he had to say. They "did it to themselves" as the song suggests.
i think that when the guy lays down in the street, he is under thom's window, hearing the words speak to him. so he has a revelation, turns into a prophet, and starts a religion. don't drink the kool-aid. maybe that's why thom looks confused from the window. something lost in translation that can turn a statement of purity into a scourge. why does personal responsibility suddenly become martyrdom? is it so hard to carry your own weight?
My hearing impaired roomie is a lipreading expert!!! He says that the guy is saying "I've seen the way" or something along those lines. I thought it might be "I'll tell you why." Either way, it's four words, and he repeats it. Mystery solved!!

It might be about computers... today at work i realised...
Just imagine the guy laying on the floor is a computer infected with a virus, trying not to spread the virus... Because the people keep begging him to tell what's wrong he says what is wrong ( he publishes the infected file and all the others get infected by the virus, which causes them not to be able to function for the full 100%)
This is just what got into my head today... I might be wrong
i really dont like mark ronson at all but i think his version is a pretty good cover it was definately a different take on it and it was a little more groovy nothing compared to the original but still good
I just saw a young band covering this song on the show "London Live." They didn't say it was a cover, though. In fact, the lady introducing them said their song was #2 when it was released. I was thinking, "This is Radiohead, damnit!" What's going on?
Holy Crap, yesssssss. That was a freaking epic ending. I wanted to violently vomit victoriously

It's definitely "Because I've seen the way" if you tilt your head to the left it's pretty easy to tell. I was never that fussed about knowing.
