Many people don't realize that these young men leave their homes, families, work, and education for two-years, at their own expense, getting sent all over the world (they do not get to choose where they go), learning a new language, working 15-hours a day to tell people about Jesus Christ. They also serve people by mowing their lawns, planting gardens, helping people move, or just doing whatever work that needs to be done. They are amazing!
i'm not mormon, but what they do for their faith is amazing. if the rest of us would use half the effort these young people use Jesus would be famous. glad you all made it home.

My son has been gone on his mission just over 1 year now. His brother will turn 19 soon and is preparing to go on a mission as well. He showed me this video and it brought back a flood gate of memories from one year ago. We both cried like babies and then he gave me a huge hug. This made me cry more :) We miss his brother but have witnessed and experienced blessings and miracles because of his faithful service. I can't wait to greet both of my sons when they return from serving! Thanks.

@DogLoverSoprano Yup i know and i experienced that when i attended some meetings at LDS Church. Missionaries really taught me a lot and i owe them those. I have so much respect from them and to all the missionaries around the Globe,I salute them. But sadly, I have this situation which my family don't like much as me seeing the missionaries for some reason maybe we're Catholic but I love learning from them and they very good influence as well as a 23yr old man.
The missionaries is one of the best people i have met.They are truly great and true people. Good influence and pleasure to be friends with. I wanna know how it feel when you doing your mission? I don't know about mission before, cause I'm not an LDS member or even Christian. But I got interest to LDS since I knew David Archuleta, I'm 16 now. Everytime I watch a video or read article about LDS and the mission. I get more and more and more interest to LDS. @psgymkids I have a daughter who is 12, and her older brother is on a mission in New Zealand right now. I know it can be sad when they're gone. But the time really does go by fast, and before you know it, you'll be hugging him hello!!

Oh my goodness! This video made me cry so hard! My brother left in July, so he still has 20 months left. I can't even describe how much I miss him! Our Daughter went to Temple Square and though we've gone to get our sons, she didn't want us coming to SLC, since we're there all the time. At the airport, we accidentally waited at the wrong terminal. Wasn't until about an hour after her flight landed that we realized what was going on!
This is very sweet. We have one son out. He has a year left .We've gone to get our 3 other sons, and will head down to Argentina in a year to get the last. But our daughter...
Wow, our son comes home from Brazil in 6 days on Nov. 17th and this video makes me cry too. I love the song. I will be watching it again in 22 months as my other son comes home from Portugal. Awesome!

We have just said our goodbyes to two sons (going to Guatemala and the Netherlands) and my gratitude has deepened for the beautiful doctrines of a loving, all-knowing Father in Heaven who will be watching over our boys, and of the eternal nature of the family. @rostroms I've seen that the album is available at these online stores: Amazon, LDSaudio, DeseretBook, and Walmart. Walmart's online store was the cheapest, and they had a nice listing of all the songs on the album. You might be able to download the individual song from one of those places.
@rostroms Yes, the last mom in the video had twins, and she was only expecting one of her sons to be returning at that time. The other son was going to be coming home a week later. But they surprised her when they both returned at the same time! As for the song, I've noticed it's a little difficult to locate. Some places that have the album for sale don't even list it as one of the songs on the album (but it's there!).

This was awesome! I couldnt help but cry watching everyone get so excited to have there son home. I know how it feels, It's been 3 1/2 years since my first son got home, and I have one recieving his call next week and one coming home next week. It's an amazing feeling. Last night I dreamed my son came home from his mission and then I woke up to this link in my email. I loved it!!! Made me cry. Two years is a long time but the reunion is so sweet!! It made me wish I had made a video of my other sons coming home from their missions. We were all so excited that we were lucky we even remembered to take pictures!!!!

This was a great video. It even found our son in the beginning of this video waving goodbye at the MTC.. Thanks for putting this together. He comes home in 3 months 21 days. Not that I'm counting... Just as a reminder for my wife....

@rostroms I've seen that the album is available at these online stores: Amazon, LDSaudio, DeseretBook, and Walmart. Walmart's online store was the cheapest, and they had a nice listing of all the songs on the album. You might be able to download the individual song from one of those places.

@rostroms Yes, the last mom in the video had twins, and she was only expecting one of her sons to be returning at that time. The other son was going to be coming home a week later. But they surprised her when they both returned at the same time! As for the song, I've noticed it's a little difficult to locate. Some places that have the album for sale don't even list it as one of the songs on the album (but it's there!).

Thank you so much for this great video clip. It is making it's rounds on LDS missionary moms.com and we are all watching with tears in our eyes dreaming of the day when that will be all of us (some of us again) at the airport.

This was awesome! I couldnt help but cry watching everyone get so excited to have there son home. I know how it feels, It's been 3 1/2 years since my first son got home, and I have one recieving his call next week and one coming home next week. It's an amazing feeling. Thank you for putting something so beautiful together and sharing it with us all.

Last night I dreamed my son came home from his mission and then I woke up to this link in my email. I loved it!!! Made me cry. Two years is a long time but the reunion is so sweet!! It made me wish I had made a video of my other sons coming home from their missions. We were all so excited that we were lucky we even remembered to take pictures!!!!
