Nothing like a New York crowd! Best concert I ever went to - Billy Joel, Yankee Stadium, mid to late 80's. 55,000 people singing the chorus to Piano Man. Chills to this day.
Why would they tear down something with so much historic significance, like The Beatles and so many other historic performances...for parking space...?
What's up Beatles fans? I would be honored if you would check out my version of this song. When I first heard this song I was deeply inspired... I must warn that it is rap music, but not like you hear on TV nowadays. It has a positive message like the rest of my music. Give it a chance and you won't regret it (I think). Jam it or slam it in my comments, I'll take whatever feedback I can get positive or negative. Peace and respect...

Actually, I dislike them because I consider them crappy songs. "I'll Follow the Sun" is brilliant in it's concision. "I Saw Her Standing There" is GREAT rock'n'roll. "Baby You Can Drive My Car," is GREAT R'nB. "Here, There and Everywhere" is a pop masterpiece with a formal elegance recalling Irving Berlin. "She's Leaving Home" is art-song almost worthy of Schubert, or Hugo Wolf. The two I mentioned before are basically sing-alongs, on a level with "Michael Rowed the Boat Ashore."

I hate this tune... Next to "Hey Jude," my least fave Beatle tune of all time... but the idea of Paul doing the last tune at the last rock concert at Shea, with Joel and his band, actually excites me. Joel & McCartney... what are they waiting for?
This was the single greatest moment of my life.

I'd be more impressed if Paul let Billy sing some part of this song.

I was there. It was amazing.
Not quite as much fun as watching Billy smash a guitar during "My Generation," though.
