  • I've had Lasik twice, and still wear glasses. That should tell people something.

  • But i hate my glasses and dont want to put contacts on anymore.......

  • @TheGamingGuardians Living with glasses and contact lenses is nothing compared to living with LASIK complications. You should visit my website and read some of the patient stories.

  • just had it done last week

  • What would you say to me? I've always dreamed of being a state trooper and they have minimum requirements for uncorrected vision that I don't meet- therefore the ONLY way for me to get a job is LASIK.

  • @onstaradvisor I think it's absurd that someone would have to risk their eyesight with a harmful, potentially blinding elective surgery in order to get a job. You asked "what would you say to me", and my response is, find a different career -- you only have one pair of eyes. Best regards.

  • I think the success rate of 95 percent is probably correct

lots of people got complications because huge numbers of people are having the surgery

up to now, there are 12 millions in the US only, which means more than half a million people are having complications, that's a LOT of pissed off people

I'm amazed that there are no lasik riots so far :-)

i was considering it, but personally, 5 percent chance of eye failure is too much for me

  • @xfraudbuster Sorry to disagree. If a patient has 20/40 or better vision at 6 months after LASIK, but suffers from chronic dry eyes & night vision problems, is that a success? (vision tends to regress over time, but LASIK surgeons don't track their patients long-term). The man who was most responsible at the FDA for the approval of LASIK (Morris Waxler, PhD) nows says that the FDA made a huge mistake and is calling for LASIK to be stopped. Watch my other videos and visit my website.

  • I am definitely against and do not approve of LASIK surgery under any circumstance.

  • I had lasik on both eyes last March my left eye is 20/15 and still somewhat dry but my right eye is a nightmare. Severe dry eye, blurred and double vision. My quality of life has really diminished. And I went to a highly respected doctor.

  • Some people have commented on this video that the facts presented here are not true. Be specific... which fact(s) do you believe is not true, and please provide peer-reviewed scientific evidence (not LASIK surgeon marketing material or, even less reliable, word of mouth) to back up your argument. I am more than happy to provide additional medical research or links to research on any specific point. I do NOT make this stuff up.

  • Im supposed to have this surgery after a month or so on both eyes..my doctor said since my eyesight is so poor i shud get a LASIK surgery done..and now im just devastrated :'(

  • if lasik was so good, how come the majority of surgeons who have eye problems as well wear glasses and contacts?

  • -goes to get lasik-

  • I disagree .. But thnx for the info!

  • There are ways to control, slow or even stop myopia from getting worse. Several hours of out door activity, good nutrition, reducing the amount of time using hand held and computer games, and the gold standard know as AOK. AOK is Advanced (or Accelerated) Orthokeratology and studies show around a 55% effective rate.

  • This is a good option for those who are not able to wear contact lenses or want to do LASIK. There is a non surgical method called AOK that may also work well. For Nearsighted parents, keep in mind that AOK is great for Kids also, and studies show it can slow or stop the progression of nearsightedness.

  • 50+ people are eye docters

  • Many people wouldn't need Lasik if the fucking eye doctors didn't get a hold of kids eyes during a "routine" check up and slap glasses on them in the first place. FUCK EYE DOCTORS. They don't give a fuck about your eyes. They are in it for the money. They make money by selling glasses not the other way around. They know they are ruining your eyes and they don't give a fuck.

  • @blabblab1212 Lol

  • my grampa went completely blind after lasik

  • But I've spoken to my optom about lasik and she spoke about it like it was no big deal, people have it all the time, it was as though she was talking about contacts. and I am only considering it because I figured contacts were holding me back, I wanted to be "normal". Wow..so I've been telling myself that as time goes by Lasik is getting more advanced and [ I assumed equaling] safer results...now I'm re-thinking my plans for lasik...and suddenly I'm not in a hurry to turn 25. Thanks 4 the vids..

  • ;o

  • Just to find ask, for a 42 yo, most people will have their myopia reduce, but how come mine still increasing? My friend said it's because i am still young! LOL! Could it be due to the long hour in front of computer? Sigh.....

  • I went for LASIK assessment and was told to have epi-LASIK due to my thin cornea, but I am holding back because I am not sure if I can still see my pimples on my nose clearly after the LASIK. Your slides make me think twice. Ya, this is something that I don't think I can tolerate if I can't see for near after LASIK. Btw, m 42 now. Thanks for the slides.

  • I am nearsighted and can only see out of my left eye, well i can see out of my right eye but its like buggered it has this like weired black over it when i look out of it. i think its called amblyopia, i'd rather not risk laser eye surgery when i only have one eye :(

  • lasikcomplications i can't believe your not even sticking up for the optoms who are getting cussed but have nothing to do with lasik and to all those people saying eye doctors just want their money wow you are so grateful, ever considered how many lives they have saved? Unbelievable.

  • @miaxstar I stick up for all optometrists who do not refer their patients to LASIK surgeons. You've made false assumptions about me. I've got a great relationship with an optometrist who helps patients who are having problems after LASIK. Several of my FaceBook friends are optometrists. Don't watch my videos if you don't like them, and don't make false assumptions about someone you do not know who has volunteered countless hours helping patients who've had bad outcomes from LASIK.

  • point 4: that's a LIE, regardless of having LASIK or not, you would still get presbyopia, also LASIKcomplications, how do we know your not the ceo of acuvue or essilor trying to persuade px to stick with glasses/contacts hah! I'm surprised people haven't considered the fact that contact lenses have more complications (but lenses are still good!) and before you lecture me not to have LASIK im an emmetrope with 6/4 va, have a nice day

  • @miaxstar You must be referring to #5, not #4, which states "LASIK results in loss of near vision. Nearsighted patients who do not have LASIK retain the ability to read and see up close after the age of 40." This is true. A nearsighted patient can remove their distance glasses and see up close after the age of 40 if they have not had LASIK. I'm not the CEO of anything. I have no financial motive. I am a patient damaged by LASIK who is simply trying to warn prospective patients. (cont'd)

  • @miaxstar (cont'd) The statement u made that contact lenses "have more complications" [than LASIK] is not true. A LASIK surgeon made that assertion based on junk science w/an agenda, using nonsensical methodology. It's just common sense that surgery is more risky than contact lenses if u follow proper guidelines for lens hygiene. I wore contacts safely for 20 years. LASIK destroyed my eyesight day one. I'm not lecturing you. If you don't like my videos, don't watch them.

  • @LASIKComplications i dont think your talking bullshit... does the " flap" after lasik ever heal??? what if you get into a fight or something hits your eye? even after days of ''recovery''?

  • @EsaRubiaEsBoricana The LASIK flap never fully heals. It can be accicentally dislodged for the remainder of a patient's life. The body of medical literature contains countless reports of flap dislocations several years after LASIK. I have devoted an entire webpage to the non-healing of LASIK flaps on my website. You'll find a link to my website on my channel. I also have a YouTube video that explains why LASIK flaps don't heal.

  • After seeing this...I'd rather keep my glasses

  • Quite honestly, I'd rather get my ears fixed than my eyes. My vision is awful, and I've required hearing aids since 2nd grade (I'm in 11th now.) I'd rather a surgery to fix my hearing rather than my eyes, since I have more limitations with the aids than the glasses. I can get glasses wet. I'm on swim team... And I'm always paranoid when I leave them in the case in my locker. They cost 2200 each. Glasses are much cheaper, and easier to replace than hearing aids.

  • Good thing I don't have bad vision and don't have to wear glasses or contacts

  • Completely satisfied with my LASIK procedure from start to finish. My doctor educated me to the fullest on the risks and side effects, gave me a full breakdown of his own personal surgical statistics and feedback, and corrected my -8.50 diopter refractive error. I last tested 20/20 both at his office and during an Army Flight Physical. Sure, my eyes get dry more often than before, but I knew that was likely and, quite frankly, am happy to put drops in rather than be so extremely myopic.

  • @hcsbaseball Why would a "completely satisfied" LASIK patient be watching videos about complications of LASIK? I hope when you tell people about your successful outcome, you also mention the need for regular eye drops due to dry eyes. I'm guessing it hasn't been a very long time since you had LASIK. A -8.50 myope is likely to experience regression over time. Just saying...

  • @LASIKComplications It has been a little over six months. I do tell them the need for eye drops and how my eyes get dry frequently. Most of them agree with my stance; small price to pay to have clear vision after so many years of extreme myopia. A myope like myself will experience regression over time, you know this because you have years of medical training and an MD? Eyes in general degenerate over time. Just saying....

  • @hcsbaseball Go to my website & learn about late onset complications, regression, & long-term consequences of LASIK. Regression is common in high myopes, but unfortunately side effects such as dry eyes may be permanent. I disagree that chronic dry eyes is a price worth paying for temporary freedom from glasses. I have spent years researching and countless hours in a university medical library reading ophthalmology journals & my experience with LASIK is much longer than yours, unfortunately.

  • @LASIKComplications are you a receiver of LASIK or are you someone who needs glasses/contacts? because I got it done and I agree I will take dry over having to always fumble with glasses or contacts!

  • @DieselDublin Unfortunately I had LASIK, so I speak not only from experience, I also provide medical studies to corroborate my statements. Visit my website for more information.

  • @LASIKComplications The surveys determining patient satisfaction with LASIK have found most patients satisfied, with satisfaction range being 92–98 percent.[20][21][22][23] , including 19 studies comprising 2,200 patients that looked directly at satisfaction, revealed a 95.4 percent patient satisfaction rate among LASIK patients worldwide

  • @badzz07 I laughed out loud when I read this because I have the full text of the "LASIK WORLD LITERATURE REVIEW", along with the full text of most of the 19 studies. Google "the truth behind lasik satisfaction" and read the article at lasiknewswire. "95.4 satisfaction" is a great soundbite for LASIK promoters, but it's just a smoke screen to hide the truth about high complication rates of LASIK. You'll find the complication rates in the lasiknewswire article.

  • gLaSsEs 4 LyFe DaWg!

  • I was going to get lasik, but after i saw this, I said fuck it... I'll just wear glasses the rest of my life. I'm fine with that.

  • @chaoschao455 Good decision!

  • my girlfriend doesn't like me wearing glasses :(

  • @00oo00ownedlv Then wear contacts.

  • Thanks for the info. My eyes are -2.75/-2.5. I thought I'm tired of wearing contacts and it's a hassle because my sports is swimming. You're absolutely correct, it's irreversible. I'm scared.

  • I want to be a U.S Marine,and I NEED a 20/20 vision,but I hate glasses! What do I do?

  • @25Milimeter What job in the Marines requires you to have 20/20 vision without glasses or contacts? There is NO JOB worth risking your vision and suffering from chronic dry eyes, poor night vision, and all the long-term consequences of LASIK. Google "refractive surgery in the military" and scroll down til you find a link to my website (lasikcomplications). When you learn the truth about LASIK, you will not want it.

  • @LASIKComplications Well, all jobs, but they say you can still join if correctable to 20/20.

  • @25Milimeter I am a former Marine. You do not need to get LASIK. I have many friends and family that have had this done and all required glasses right after or within two years. One friend had it done while in the service, she had great vision (she could read the highway signs better then me and I was driving). She now wears glasses again. You only wear glasses in boot camp, trust me you get over it real fast. I wore my contacts unless I was not near proper sanitation.

  • Thanks for the information.

  • Good enough for tiger woods and countless other sports men?......

  • @takethatchair Maybe you don't know that Tiger Woods' vision deteriorated after LASIK, and that he required a reoperation in 2007, or that all of the following had some sort of problem after LASIK: Kenny Perry, Retief Goosen, Kevin Na, Paul Stankowski, Ian Leggatt, Vijay Singh, John Jacobs, Paul Parajeckas, Peter Lonard, Padraig Harrington, and Scott Hoch. Other sports figures who had problems after LASIK: Jay Gibbons, Brian McCann, Steven Holcomb, Justine Henin, Brandon Sing, and many others.

  • a lot of eye doctors still wear glasses and contacts...that tells me a lot by itself

  • @nmarangos What about the fact that your eyes gets worse when you hit the age of 40?

  • @Crzynoob See #5.

  • @LASIKComplications Ahh. Then F LASIK

  • I want to be a Fire Fighter but I don't want glasses to get in the way or contacts to fail durin a crysis.

  • @morganleeanncooper If you want to be a fire fighter, you should definitely NOT have LASIK. Dry eyes and poor night vision are common after LASIK, and these conditions do not mix with fire fighting. There's a LASIK injury report on the FDA website submitted by a firefighter. Here's an excerpt: "I'm a firefighter and need my vision to work. The nasty part of the disease is that it caused me the inability to function with soft contacts and glasses." You can read the full report on my website.

  • @LASIKComplications Thanks. my dad had LASIK with no problems and was a fire fighter for 16 years and paramedic for 21 years, but thats him you know? It might be different for me. my eyesight is 20/200 so....

  • @morganleeanncooper Don't take a chance on something as precious as eyesight. Take it from someone with 20/20 hindsight.

  • seems like science can't provide a sound treatment for vision correction....even in 21st century...all they achieved is how to put more and more transistors on a silicon chip....

  • Health is more precious Than become a Police officer .

  • Whaaaa!?! But I likes my near vision!

  • I guess I want a lot. I want to be free of glasses/ contact lenses and no lasik. But I really want good vision. Do eye exercises actually help vision? I don't honestly care if its takes months, Im not even on glasses yet (might be in 6 - 8 months), or even YEARS, but seriously, doesn't everyone have the right to perfect senses? I think we should!

  • @amelnuhanovic PRK or LASEK carries many of the same risks as LASIK except for flap complications. A toxic substance, MMC, is now commonly used in PRK to prevent haze. MMC is reported to have long-term adverse effects. Permanent destruction of the Bowman's membrane during PRK may lead to late-onset complications. Bowman's membrane is a protective barrier between the environment and the cornea. Pain, haze, dry eyes, regression, and night vision problems are the most common complaints after PRK.

  • thanks dude u saved my life i was bout 2 get lasik

  • I need LASIK to become a police officer

  • @BEANSvsPENCILS You need to read about police officer Larry Campbell who committed suicide because of LASIK. It's on my website.

  • @LASIKComplications What is the URL to your website?

  • @bumblefoot2004 LasikComplications (dot) com. There's a live link to it in the description of this video, and it's also on my channel page.

  • There's a live link to it in the description of this video, and it's also shown on my channel page.

  • My optometrist can't seem to get my left eye at a good vision. Every time I get a new pair of glasses or contacts they're NEVER strong enough. For some reason my vision gets worse as each year goes by. My left eye tends to get worse. (they're different eyesights) I can't see near or far. I've needed glasses since our first eye exam at school in 1st grade! Also, my grandma has a completely blind left eye. Her right eye definitely doesn't do her justice at all either. Could it bs genetics? And do

  • @MissCoomes All good reasons NOT to have LASIK!

  • @MissCoomes are you diabetic by any chance?

  • why did my eyes have to be shit -_- Im thinking of getting laser surgurey when Im 23 maybe, Im 17 now

  • @B0rnToRoll, don't do it. Read my website, read other websites published by people who suffered bad outcomes. It's not worth the risk, and there are long-term consequences that they do not warn patients about. Learn more. The more you know, the worse it looks.

  • @LASIKComplications yeh I decided to keep the glasses until theres something out their thats good. Hey this may be a dumb question but is LASIK another word for laser surgeurey?

  • @B0rnToRoll Yes, LASIK and PRK are known as laser eye surgery. There are other variations, such as epi-LASIK, LASEK, and more. All of these surgeries are forms of laser eye surgery.

  • laser vision correction messed my eyes up. I actually lost my career due to complications. Don't take the risk for vanity. The surgeons will not properly warn you or screen you. They are protected by a wavier and the billion dollar industry. FDA is paid off. Warning to all. Thanks.

  • THANK UU!!!!

  • i dont want lasik anymore ill just wear glasses or contacts

  • @avengful Some of the reported complications of bladeless LASIK (femtosecond lasers) are opaque bubble layer, extreme light sensitivity, partial flaps, rainbow glare, torn flap, vertical gas breakthrough, epithelial ingrowth, flap necrosis, diffuse lamellar keratitis (DLK), incomplete flap, gas bubbles in the anterior chamber, flap tears, haze, macular hemorrhage, infection, stromal cell necrosis, inflammation, and keratocyte cell death. View my video about IntraLase.

  • Wow. I was thinking about getting LASIK when I'm 18. But now that I know more about the risks, I guess I'll just get contacts.

  • Where do you get your facts?

  • @jipmip2332 Go to my website (you can find the url on my channel), then go to my page Top 10 Reasons Not to Have LASIK, and you can see all of the references at the bottom of the page. Every fact is supported by peer-reviewed medical journal articles or information from the FDA website.

  • do not get lasik or any laser vision correction surgery. IT ruined my eyes at 31 years of age. YOu cant undue the damage the laser does. Long term side effects are not know. BEWARE of unethical surgeons selling this procedure. Is vanity worth the risk of your most important sense??????

  • @MrNooobtooob What kind of issues did you have?

  • I've been wearing glasses since 3rd grade. And i wear contacts sometimes (when i go to six flags n such), and i would NEVER have this surgery done.

  • u guys tell me my dad is planning to get it should i let him do the surgery or not?

  • @Mohseen3 Warn your Dad about the risks and long-term consequences. Advise him NOT to have LASIK. Go to lasikcomplications (.) com for more information.

  • @Mohseen3 I'd show your dad this video and alot of the other videos related to this.

Lasik can really mess up your vision for the rest of your life which also could possibly lead to depression also if it does mess your fathers vision up he could get into a car accident alot of people have bad experinces with seeing at night. The way i see it just go for contacts or glasses some people don't like the way glasses look so go for contacts it's much safer and they won't screw your eyes up..

  • there is no way i will have this done, i have seen people having too many problems. i will stick with contact lenses. you only get one set of eyes and losing your sight would be terrible. i also couldn't be doing with halos and starbursts around things at night.

  • Eye doctors are the biggest liars in the world!!! They just want MONEY!!! Money money money!!! They make your eyes worse and never tell you about side effects! Though i dont have very bad nearsightedness i recommend using contact lenses, ortho C, ortho K and/or glasses!!! Research up on those option and never ever get lasik or any other type of eye surgeries cause there is no going back! You only have one pair of eyes!! Use them wisely!

  • damn those doctors, all they want is our money

  • So what about PRK or ICL are the bad too....

  • @ShineHunter There is no flap with PRK, so it's safer than LASIK (IMO) but carries risk of haze and pain. Other risks apply. ICLs carry serious risks such as glaucoma, cataract, retinal detachment, infection, inflammation, and endothelial cell loss leading to clouding of the cornea and possible corneal transplant. Long-term endothelial cell loss is common with ICLs (these cells cannot regenerate). In my opinion, ICLs are riskier than LASIK.

  • Does this include intralase lasik too.

  • @ShineHunter , yes, all ten reasons apply to IntraLase LASIK, too. There are subtle differences, for example, the flap has been shown to heal a bit stronger after IntraLase LASIK, but not completely -- not even close. I have a video specifically about IntraLase (all laser, bladefree ) LASIK risks which you can find on my channel.

  • I'd rather have my natural eye vision my glasses don't bother me one bit plus my eye are too sensitive for this

  • Pay thousands of Dollars and yet face permanent blindness?

Lasik seems like a lose-lose situation.

  • That's why PRK is way better, it hurts more, but the ephithelium is healed

  • Thanks. Informative video. I doubted I would ever get it (instinctive resistance toward getting my eyes messed with), but this video makes it certain: it's not worth the risk.

  • Interesting about floaters: I didn't have them until I was 26 years old. That summer I went hiking up in Rocky Mountain National Park - I wasn't in shape for that altitude and got mountain sickness. I hiked half a mile, then my vision started to close down. I barely shuffled back to my car, and had headache until I went back down. Since then I have had a huge floater in one eye, but usually I can make it go to the side.

  • had both eyes done same day, One eye is screwed up bad, floaters, blurred vision, halos you name it. The other eye is just fine, so far.

  • laser eye surgery ruined my eyes. I have tons of eye floaters now - hundreds. My eyes are snowglobes of floaters. If you don't know what an eye floater is - you don't want to know.

  • That's it. No Lasik for me. i'm happy with my glasses n contact lense

  • Smart decision! Enjoy your healthy eyes and good correctable vision.

  • Lasik is not a guaranteed. The results could be permanent. I know cause I'm a victim.

  • It's a myth that LASIK patients who suffer complications complain openly. The fact is that many don't even tell their family. They may even tell people that their LASIK was great and keep their LASIK complications a secret. Why do they do this? The reasons are many. Here's just 1 reason .LASIK is permanent. You can't return it like a bad pair of glasses. Therefore, many choose to rationalize their bad decision (ex. sure my night vision sucks but at least I don't need glasses). Don't do it!

  • Gee - what about all those people who say America has the best medical care in the world???

  • LASIK is not medicine.

  • @LASIKComplications thanks dude i am not getting LASIK EVER. EVER

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes, i think you are right "thetruth", i dont have it but it sounds logical.

Thank you for this information, i use glasses so i could be a possible victim.

  • I am 20 years old and wear contacts and glasses. At the moment, I am choosing not to get LASIK and hope that others do the same. If PERFECT VISION is what you want than glasses will provide this in almost all cases. If COSMETIC reasons concern you, spend some time trying different contact lenses. Contacts will allow you to have perfect vision, and after a few weeks you will get used to the way they feel. If you MUST get LASIK I ask you to wait. There is NO RUSH! see what the long term effects are

  • If you wear glasses, keep wearing them. Lasik WILL ruin your vision. Lasik surgeons will only lie to you to get your business. It's all about money and nothing else folks. Who knows how many innocent victims there are out there. I know because I"m one of them.

  • Don't EVER consider Lasik people. Keep wearing your glasses. Lasik surgeons are nothing but liars. They will tell you anything to get your business. If Lasik was a legitimate business, the Lasik surgeons would have no problem revealing the true risks and would not have you sign a release. So keep that im mind folks and do your homework. Don't believe a word your Lasik surgeon tells you; they're all liars. If you want to keep your site and your eyes healthy, forget about Lasik.

  • Thanks for the info. Because of many of these video's on you tube I now would NEVER GET LASIK and have to stick with -5 lense in one eye and -7.5 in the other. Yeah, I am pretty much blind except fo close vision without my glasses but I am fully corrected with glasses. I found about this first going home one evening on the business news that the FDA wanted stronger warnings on LASIK.

  • I had lasik and it ruined my life! the welfare board will now be taking care of me. All because of Keon Nia and the rest of the greedy people at LasikMD here in Canada. Lasik sucks! Dr. Avi Wallerstein your clinics are ruining people!

  • This video is actually the reason I DIDN'T get Lasik.

I got PRK instead. So fare everything is good.

  • Point 5 is the one which interested me. I'm somewhat near-sighted(myopic), and always have been. But I've recently become slightly presbyopic as I'm over 40. I now wear glasses for distance but not for reading or computer work.

Now if I'd had LASIK, my situation could have been much worse, and be needing glasses for everything, or not been able to see clearly at all.

People seriously need to think if LASIK is the right option instead of just wearing glasses. Glasses have NO risks at all.

  • I had Lasik 7 months ago and now is worse than first . 5 months now there is a blur in the centre

  • Hmm seems my comment was deleted. How strange. :\

So as I said before... where does your information (stats) come from? I'd like to see some statistical evidence to your claims in the video.

  • Your comment wasn't deleted. If you would like to know where the statistics come from, please read my website. There's a link to my site on my channel page. All of the statistics are taken from peer-reviewed medical journals.

  • I have to wonder just by your comments that you're one of those people that had it done, isn't satisfied, and took to the masses to preach the negativity.

I haven't had it done, and am contemplating it. I guess my question to you is, where does your info come from? Anyone can visit an anti-LASIK website and hear claims. But I want UNBIASED statistical studies that show me that it's dangerous (not that there's a risk... there's always a risk to everything you do even brushing your teeth).

  • Of course PRK eliminates flap related problems. However, PRK is associated with pain, haze, dry eyes, night vision disturbances, ectasia, loss of near-vision after age 40 (myopic-PRK), and other complications.

  • It seems as though most of your complications stem from creation of the flap. PRK does not involve creating a flap (although there is pain and discomfort after) and has a high success rate.

  • If LASIK is so safe, then why are there so many hurt LASIK patient websites warning you of Lying Lasik Dr's?

  • I've read stories of photographers and artists who say their work was negatively affected by LASIK. Many LASIK patients also complain of dimmer vision in one eye than the other. You should avoid LASIK, not only because of your job and the need for excellent color vision, but for all the reasons explained in the video. Read my website, lasikcomplications (.) com, for more information.

  • i paint cars for living and excellent vision is a must in order to see color differences especially when tinting the automotive paint to get a pricise color match. But I wear contact lenses and have no problem with my colors. Would lasik change the ability of my eyes to see color differenses? I mean I don't wanna see a true green becomes gray or a red becomes orange after the operation.

  • Answering your question, lasik probably won't make you see color blind but blurriness. I know cause I'm a victim.

  • Maybe blurriness.

  • Would you do LASIK if you knew the TRUE SUCCESS RATES?

1st Year Post LASIK: 88% success rates.

Will you be one of the "lucky ones" that can last 10+ years without contacts or glasses?

  • I too am a victim of LASIK. I too bought in to all of the lies telling me that it was painless, safe, proven, and had a 95% success rate. All lies. Every year my eyes get dryer and dryer and I'm wondering if my eye is dying from having had the nerves cut never to regrow since the LASIK FLAP was created. I never had dry eye or eye pain until I paid a LASIK Lying Quack Charlatan $5k to ruin my eyes and thus my life. Every LASIK surgery is a failure because it leaves you with permanent dry eye

  • I never fully bought into the LASIK fad. The sound of PERMANENT eye damage never sounded good to me. I'll be happy with my glasses.

  • With LASIK, the more you know, the worse it looks! I just wish I had learned more before my eyes and quality of life were permanently damaged because of LASIK.
