For someone having "drag racing" in their name, you sure aren't too bright. A simple rule of racing is -- Lighter is Better. To simplify it for you, they used a laptop to make the mobile station lighter, in order to make it more "mobile", as per the stipulations that were placed upon them. If they would have used a regular sized PC with all the attachments(Adding atleast 25 lbs. give or take), it wouldn't have been so mobile then would it?

The lighter the better is a rule?? ok maybe if you were in a red bull race Drag racing speed is king Thrust is king Less drag is king Then light is better ..and that only happens in balance. Not here and there ..if these kids had to think more about the customer and her needs they would of made it ajustable for sitting down and standing up ..Something no one else has said or done

just put a projector on her wheel chair and connect the laptop to it, that way, if she wants to give a presentation, she just turns on the mini projector...makes more sense to me anyway, but good job none-the-less

I have to agree to some extent, you can get a well paid job these days just for having a written document without actually having the technical know-how to accomplish what you're say, designing.

The saddening thing is though, where the magic happens creating some of these deigns is now what's probably underpaid considering the skill involved creating an object in comparison to designing it.

for the first one they drew some pretty pictures and sent it away and it came back looking like a million bucks due to onother sponser
