The original is SO shit, but Marina made it sooooooooooooo beautiful. The 3Oh!3 song is missing passion, emotion, real singing, real meaning... @CoMic1995 Haha it's not good for covers that stay faithful to 3oh!3 but this spin probably makes their music more palatable to people who prefer acoustic, vocal songs and weren't necessarily fans of the original. That said...I think the discrepancy between the original and the cover is hilarious! It's like if you look up the slipknot/justin bieber mashup of Baby and Psychosocial. I fell on the floor laughing! This is just way more subtle and also partly just Marina showing off her voice.

I love all the hate towards the original song. They are both fine honestly. I like this version. I like the original version. They are both songs and they carry the same message if you want to get all technical about it. Ones slower sure but that doesn't suddenly change the entire meaning behind the song. It's not trashy when she sings it, she changes it to mean that that person who's singing it doesn't know what love is, rather than just trashing women, which is the way it sounded in the original.

There's so much to say about this piece of music. It's really perfect. Marina is so natural and authentic. Her voice isn't beautiful in the conventional way, but it totally expresses who she is and she never leave the music because it's what she is/loves.
