  • Totally agree with him, why not replace the AM's with Welsh MP's so many layers of goverment it irritates me. Yes and im Welsh my money being wasted on more beauracracy

  • @BritishWarLord, yeah me too, so lets get rid of the westminster version, it costs a fortune. and youre british, not welsh.

  • @MrLlanllyfni Yeah that is one possibility. No I'm Welsh/British

  • Oh you poor poor welshman you. THis video is so biased and the viewpoints expressed outdated. Wales hasn't called for a referendum on independence neither has scotland why? because those countries don't want independence. The countries in the united kingdom speak the same language actually don't know what you are speaking MrLlanllyfni. Last time i went to wales and scotalnd poeple spoke english. Our cultures are similar as well hence why this union works.

  • But the welsh MP's dont have enough say, dont they? even when they all stuck together in 1956 to vote against the tryweryn bill they had little say against englands mp's.

  • @EMPIRE01233 cultural variety is morally just as no two humans are exactly the same...if london is so good why cant you lot speak welsh or at least understand the differences? O I forgot the english are too good to bother learning any languages, even the proud french learn english, german, spanish and italian well

  • What is with the hate of the original indigenuous British cultures....ppl on here claim to be 'british' BUT have no idea of the history......next you'll lot will be telling me arthur and merlin were proud englishmen ahah

  • @MrLlanllyfni It is only inevitable because only 30% of people bother to vote, with those interested, ie, nationalists, being the majority.

  • @Slipstreamer doesnt change the fact that its still inevitable. and anyway theres nothing wrong wales being run by the welsh.

  • The Welsh Assembly should be torn down. I'm Welsh.

  • @Slipstreamer welsh or not mate, youre entitled to your opinion. fact is, the assembly (and it wont be called the assembly for much longer because its now a parliament) is here to stay and no matter how much you and nigel worry about the welsh getting too much power you both know its not going anywhere but up. change is inevitable. there are now many more countries in europe than there were 15 years ago.

  • @Slipstreamer ...so instead of trying to destroy something why not try to make the best of the inevitable, stop waving the union jack and get behind your own country.

and remember, vidkun quisling was norwegian, petain french, benedict arnold american and judas iscariot an apostle, thats the way it works.

  • FUTURE OF THE GEOGRAPHICAL BRITISH ISLES.... FIRSTLY A UNITED IRELAND WITH PARLIMENT IN DUBLIN AND AN ASSEMBLY IN ULSTER/NORTHERN IRELAND - IN A FAIR AND SYMBIOTIC UNION WITH GREAT BRITAIN, WHOSE PARLIMENT SHALL OFCOURSE REMAIN IN LONDON WITH ASSEMBLIES IN WALES AND SCOTLAND... WE ALL GET THE HELL OUT OF THIS CURRENT EUROPEAN UNION AND IRELAND EITHER GOES BACK TO THE PUNT OR JOINS THE POUND, WE THEN TAKE EUROPE BY SCRUFF OF NECK(IN CENTRE)AND SORT HER OUT, THIS IS THE FURTURE WE NEED TO PROSPER!

  • @rugbyboy198127 i feel bad for you because no matter how much you want that situation you know as much as i do that its never going to happen. the referendum in wales last month means that we are on our way to independence, as the NO camp pointed out, devolution is not a destination its a temporary stop on the slippery road to succession. scotland will get there before us and hell will freeze over before ireland merges with england. things change mate, identities develop, go with it.

  • @MrLlanllyfni well hopefully the danger of the new EU will help us to put aside our petty differences and come together for all our sakes... i am the first to admit the 'english - i prefer to say the elite and bankers and corperations' have been awful to wales - northern england has a similar claim to boot and well where to start with the problems we caused in ireland - i know, it's difficult but there are enough people like me with english, scots and irish ancestry so i cant accept division ok?

  • @rugbyboy198127 as mohammed ali said "no veitnamese ever called me nigger". why would we want to "come together" with a country that has treated us like shit for 800 years against a europe that has never done us any harm whatsoever? i dont get why you would think that! and fortunately for us, you dont have a say in the way wales develops so whether or not you can accept it, division is on its way. mate i wish england no ill at all, i just dont want us to be your whipping boy anymore.

  • @MrLlanllyfni yes i agree about ali yet dont forget the awful way he treated joe frazer before fights racially taunting him etc he sunk to terrible levels - check out the documentry about it if you haven't seen it - after seeing the real ali, i dont care much for anything he said! i cant defend the oppression of the welsh and their language by england but that's the past you need to move on!i don't hold a grudge against germany, that's only 60 years ago! us having different laws etc defies logic

  • @rugbyboy198127 nobody's perfect mate. ali was a surreal character in a surreal world. if it was just all in the past life would be great. if anything things are worse now than they ever have been, we are either at a breaking point or a turning point and weve been forced into this by the english. to compare the germans to what the english have done to us is like comparing cheese and a car. we are not england, we have a different culture and a different language, we need different laws.

  • @rugbyboy198127 watched your video - it is excellent and very accurate and not moving after the hakka was awesome! i dont deny the past and i'm aware of ancient british history and the woeful attempt of a hannoverian monarchy to re-write british history in such a cruel manner etc etc - i just want to look forward to a better future for all of us, i think separate laws will further distance us and afterall we do all share a rather small island, we should invest in wales and apologise prefusely...

  • @rugbyboy198127 thanks mate. if every english man was like you there would be no issue, unfortunately theyre not, so a better future for us lies down separate paths, but theyll never be that different, we have more in common than we have dont. its just that theres no point continuing a relationship where one party does nothing but take and the other just gives. as someone once said, england made history, wales had history thrust upon it. its time we made our own history.

  • @MrLlanllyfni yeah well we all know there's plenty of idiots in england lol - i'm sure wales also has it's fair share! i cant condemn what you say as it's the truth, i can only ask for forgiveness rather than revenge etc... but we do have so much in common as you say... i just hope we can eventually have some compramise in which the english, irish, scots and welsh are all happy in an arrangement closer to unity than to division, but i guess your right we cant make up for past until independance

  • FOR ALL YOU KNOW THAT 'PROPER RAF CHAP' COULD HAVE BEEN A WELSHMAN - YOU ARE GROSSLY STEREOTYPING US! LIKE ME SAYING ALL THE WELSH ARE A BUNCH OF DIRTY MINE DWELLING SHEEP SHAGGERS! NOT NICE IS IT? TO STEREOTYPE PEOPLE ETC... I DONT BELIEVE THAT FOR A SECOND AND YOU SHOULDN'T GENERALISE ABOUT THE ENGLISH - YOU GUYS HAVE SUCH A CHIP ON YOUR BLOODY SHOULDER MATE, SO MUCH SO THAT YOU'D PROB RATHER CUDDLE UP TO BUNCH OF UNDEMOCRATIC EUROCRATS THAN MAKE PEACE WITH YOUR BROTHER - YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM!

  • @rugbyboy198127 where in the video did i generalise about the english? our brother has treated us like shit for our entire relationship. when he makes amends and starts to show us some respect we'll be more than happy to make peace with him. watch my other video We Are still Here and tell me we arent right to have a chip on our shoulder.

  • @MrLlanllyfni when you refered to nigel farage's description of the RAF pilot as 'a proper chap', inferring that what he considered a 'proper chap' would be the social elite of london etc you suggest that, he doesn't for a second! i have irish/scots ancestry as well as luxembourg, the only thing making me english is that i was born on london, i respect wales and the true history of britain, i don't buy the anglo-saxon myth ok! but i love the british&irish lions and if we come together for rugby?

  • @rugbyboy198127 no mate, i merely implied that he is the sort of person who calls people proper chaps, no comment about the pilot at all. the same as when you called me a dirty mine dwelling sheep shagger, if someone pointed out that your language was stereotypical of a type of welsh hating englishman theyd be making no comment about me. mate, i dont understand why any welsh player plays for the lions. the day they drop the "british" bit ill be all for it, im a rugby man myself.

  • @MrLlanllyfni aw oh come on it was a cheap swip at 'posh' people man! so what would you call it? the english, irish, scots and welsh united rugby football union team or? btw order is alphabetical and happens to also be in order of population too - its no slight on wales - i'm a great admirer of welsh rugby, the welsh wizards past and present - the way rugby should be played, not the dour style england are famous for - although things looking up lately ;) i just dont want us to be divided mate...

  • @EMPIRE01233 Of course there is a need for a Welsh & Scottish assembly. They want to control their own affairs of their respective countries, and not have them controlled by a central house. Waste of tax-payers money my arse.

  • this video would be more convincing if it wasn't made of a series of heavily cut short clips and your own words pasted in between them. :-)

  • handy for england. as nigel points out regularly, westminster serves no purpose. its an even bigger waste of tax payers money.

mate, i dont care what happens to england or the english, what they do is their/your own affair, i would rather there were no such thing as welsh mps voting on anything english/british. but if you really feel hard done by how we are treating you check out my other film "we are still here" for a reality check.
