  • just dont dye her fur red. if you want to kno what im talking about, look up "smile.jpg", other known as smile dog.

  • LOL your dog just put on his trolling face.

  • That is so cute! My Roxie smiles like that, but only when she gets in trouble! lol. she's too wild to train her to do it. Wish I could though

  • she is beautiful and so smart

  • This isn't smile.

    Those mouth move mean threat

  • haha my dog does that a lot:)

  • sooooo cute sammys brighten up your life may she rest in puppy heaven <3

  • a very demonic smile that is. lol

  • i have a samoyed named jazzy/jazz/jasmine she is the cutest thing in the entire world i live in iowa and we got her in maryland she floew on a plane and we picked her up in an airport in Omaha she is now 5 yrs old her birthdayy is febuary 5th im so sorry tht ur dog passed away my last samoyed tasha dies 6 yrs ago and i was devasted!!

  • My beautiful Selkie Angel, passed away last Tuesday. Run free my funny precious girl. Always a smile for everyone. I love you always and forever

  • @themagpye I'm very sorry to hear that. I lost my long-time dog back in March. It's never a good day.

  • @themagpye I'm sorry you lost your Selkie :( Pets give us such joy and unconditional love, it is so hard to lose them.

  • I don't think that's smiling...

  • When dogs bare their teeth in that way they are snarling NOT smiling. If you reward it with love and food for doing something which is naturally intended to convey aggression you may send it crazy. Imagine if every time you made an agrressive facial expression your parents had given you approval and rewards, do you think you would have grown up sane? You can tell it's confused because it actually growls when it "smiles". It's going against it's natural instincts.

  • @MrJackonion dogs are not like humans. you shouldnt draw the analogy of this dog "smiling" to human parenting

  • @MrJackonion Exactly my point, dogs are not like humans: when they bare their teeth in the way shown on the video they are not smiling.

  • @MrJackonion Dude, it's a submissive grin. I swear some of you have never owned dogs.

  • @MrJackonion Dude, you're an idiot. It's called a submissive grin. Have you even owned a dog?

  • our samoyed... he's all smile whenever he thinks people are talking about him. if someone even mentions treats, he goes all serious, turns his ears towards that person and looks keenly at him.

  • Very beautiful dog..but her smile is a lil bit scary x3

  • lol, this made -me- smile. Adorable dog ^^

  • awsome, great video,

  • so cute

  • My Samoyed makes this face when hes about to chop off my hand.Still is cute tho.

  • What a pretty baby!! Aw!

  • My grandparents' Doberman does this whenever they go out of town and I drive out to feed her. If she has been alone for a long period of time (to her, that is only a few hours!) she runs up with a huge smile on her face, stump tail and rump all wiggly. The first time my little brother saw her do that (he was 9) he yelled "Whoah, whoah, whoah!" and started backing away from her. It was too funny. People who have never seen a dog smile always think it is scary at first. Haha

  • SMILE.DOG

    AUUUUUGH

    Pretty dog, though. :>

  • more like "dog wants to eat your soul"

  • Woa, scary.

  • smile

  • that is cool how you added that in but. usually when dogs show you their top teeth(now i said usually because before you said she use to snap) it is because they want to attack whatever. And that is how they are showing you to stay back

  • @jessicaa2694 You have to read the rest of their body language. If they are acting aggressively, then yea, but in this case with the treats and my grandparents' Dobie who gets excited when you come home, it is almost like an overexcitement thing. Kind of like how multiple sneezes in a row are thought to be dog laughter. My collie will will sneeze and sneeze whenever I trip!

  • My god thats a beautifull Dogg, except when it did that trick i wouldnt teach such tricks, anyways beauty dogg - Sometimes we get more love from our dog then someone else ^^

  • my dog so much funner

  • my dog is so much funnyer

  • awww

  • Smile.dog

  • beautiful dog

  • I saw our yorkie smile only once :( But my previous dog (dachshund) smiled every time she was happy (I miss her :( )

  • loll... so cute.. imagine if she is trying to smile at me instead I think she is mad...loll

    fuzzy cuteness

  • looks like the Cratebeast from Creepshow

  • scary

  • i think that the teeth are cute:)

  • I love your Samoyed! She has a great smile.

  • Thats adorable. I was at the vet with my Pit, and a lady came in with a greyhound. the greyhound saw my dog, and got all excited. She started smiling. It was soo precious! The lady said the dog smiled on command too, but she just liked to smile.

  • awsome. how were you able to train her to do that?

  • cutie =-)

  • Too funny!

  • u sure that's a smile? haha

  • he's not smiling......he is very impatient to get his treat...

  • big smile.......8D cute dog X3

  • Last time I saw a smile that scary, I was watching one of the "Chucky" movies. Lmfao. xD

  • hah my dog snarls alot like that

  • pretty dog, ugly teeth

  • She was about 10 in this video, she's 14 now, you should see her teeth now! Maybe I'll do an updated version with selkies old lady teeth gappy smile:)

  • hahah i wouldn't know if you could exactly call that a smile... kind of creepy eh?

i am too! but did you know samoyeds dont produce dander? im getting one next year!

  • Haha, sammys are always smiling :D That's why they're called smiling sammys :3 (I am sooo smart 8D)

  • Cute dog! Freaky smile though!

  • How did you train your dog to smile? I would like to teach mine. Its cute.

  • I had a Dog that Smiles whenever I Came Home form School/Outing

Passed away 3 years by past away I mean Slowly walking in to the Deep Forest behind my house and never came back think he was about 8 human years. more of a mut then a German Shepperd

Lol remember the First day we got him

we had pizza sales out of my house and This John fellow from the across the river and dropped him off as a puppy for payment of a 20 pizza he owed us.

  • Actually it kind of is. My nans dog has little flop down ears and they never go up when he smiles. It looks like he's angry but he's actually smiling when he sees you :) It's just hard to tell with some doggies.

  • LoL!!!

  • waw!! amazing!!!

  • i wont be able to sleep for weeks after watching a dog smile

  • i have a full lab that is definetely not as trained as that one but she is smart. but not as crazy

  • Great smiles, cute video!

  • uh that aint no smile. it's only a smile when their ears are up.

  • so cute

  • She wasnt smiling she was growling

  • CarysJ52, she wasn't growling. you can see it from dog's eyes when it's angry. this dog is a happy dog. and i'm sure she'd be making growling noices if she was angry you silly..

  • haha yup, i had a sammy that did that all the time, and then promptly sneezed after smiling each time.

  • Such an smart and funny dog:) Nice video!

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN LOVE IT

  • lol funny ..scary smile!..lol

    Sammies are the best!

  • Just adorable, xxx

  • cute dog

  • When dogs smile sometimes I can't tell if they're happy or angry at me lol

because my friend's dog does that and im always like O_O I'm sorry Penny!

  • My sister has a Miniature Pinscher (kinda chihuahua-ish) and she knows how to smile too.

I guess she has just learned that humans around her do it, so she always lifts her "cheeks" in a grin.. it looks hilarious, coz it looks like a smile ALOT :) But that's some talented dog, to teach her a trick like that! :O I mean, I wouldn't know where to start if teaching something like that to a dog :) well done

  • my sammy does the same thing! she say "snarl!!" and she does it.

  • Awesome! How'd you teach it to do that?

  • lol, I like the fact that she actually snarls while 'smiling'

  • She is so cute!

    your dog is charming!!!

  • interesting: English Sams have such distinctive outlines on their lips... looks like someone painted them on... they r so much more defined than Sams in the US, and your girl is very pretty.

  • Samoyeds are so beautiful!

  • I have to say that she is a beautiful dog! I WONT HER!

  • My dog laughs like this every time I get back home :)

Did you know dog can also cry (like humans, tears and all!)

  • my chihuahua does that!! he will be sitting there and he has like tears on the bottom of his eyes and underneath his eyes

  • she is probably thinking 'give me that treat or i'll rip your hand off'! lol

  • haha thats funny xD

  • My sammy does that too. Its very funny

  • the first dog that knows the command: smile

  • omg! she is soooooo FLUFFY! i <3 FLUFFY dogs!!!!!!!

  • LOL cute!

  • My son likes her nice bright white smile! Very sassy indeed. Good job.

  • how did you teach her to smile? im trying to teach my siberian husky to smile but i dont know how!

  • actually, I was trying to teach her 'gently' at the time. She had a tendency to snap at treats and take your fingers off. So I made her wait before taking the treat. But she couldn't contain herself and would try so hard to take the treat as delicately as possible she began to pull the smile. So I attached the command 'big smile'.

I think this is just one of those things like singing that some dogs do and some dont. I'm not sure how you would teach it if it wasn't something they did anyway.

  • samoyeds are smiling all the time their face is like that . it gives you impression they are smilling. they are known for that . great dogs :))

  • @obsessedvalentine the dog does not smile. its the dogs nerves and insecurity that does this.

  • @obsessedvalentine You don't really teach dogs to smile. My Border-Collie-cross smiles when ever we stroke her or make a big fuss over her. She loves it! I though about putting it on but I couldn't be bothered xD

  • now thats a beutiful scary looking dog XD

but so white and so beutiful lol

  • american eskimo dog?

  • She's a samoyed. And a very beautiful one too:)

  • yeah pretty gir...I agree with you, lovely sammie...

  • cool
