When I saw Dolly live she lip-synced pretty much the whole thing. It really put me off - I'm not even that keen on listening to her music now and I was big fan. If you google, you'll find she's been miming live for ages and has only recently begrudgingly admitted it, because people are cottoning on. If I had known she was going to mime, I wouldn't have gone to the show. I think it's a rip-off and she should be ashamed. An amazingly talented lady but I wish I'd never seen her in concert.

@gus2you Ok, first of all, when I was editing the video the music synced out of place a little bit and if you go listen to the original version you can surely tell its WAY different, in this video she sings it much faster!

@dollyman2009 I'm not saying that this is the original version & this has nothing to do with the sync of the video. She lip syncs and she admits it. I saw her a few years ago and she stood there and says she does it so people hear the "best of" her... I personally would rather hear the flaws and and occasional off-pitch than to just watch her lip synch. I love her with the best of them, but I love her LIVE voice too.

I like Dolly a lot - she is a pretty amazing woman. But can someone explain to me why someone wearing a head mic needs to use a handheld mic???

I suppose it's a matter of fine tuning of the mics. The adjustments might be different between Dolly's singing and speaking voices.
